I answered $50 or less, but I might be willing to consider more for a real piece of Christory.

I'll take the bait and state that I was one of the ones who voted in the $200 range, but only under certain circumstances. I would only be willing to pay the upper limit of that for pieces that are well-known CWC creations (as Some JERK mentioned); things like the original "My Love Quest is finally over" drawing or the cover of Sonichu #1 and things to that extent. For a random out of context CWC Original I'd spend at most maybe $30-60 depending on the content of the picture.

I enjoy collecting bizarre things and I have a small collection of original artwork from various people of all walks of life. One of Chris' pieces would make a nice addition if only to further contrast everything around it.

I'm on the fence on this one. Mostly cos I'm a cheap fecker. But I like the idea of Chris (once again) attempting to market his true and original idea. tbh He draws a heck of a lot better than I do.

minor sidebar here: The poll says "thievin' red cent", and is oft quoted as such. But Chris himself disputed that account, and that is significant to me...probly cos I hate judges, too.
"Wednesday July 11, 2012 Yep...their trolling stupid presence is noted and known. I have also found their transcribed, personal reports on the Cwcki Forum, and they have a 23 second video on YouTube of them driving by the courthouse and holding up the day's "New York Times" paper, titled "CyanIndigo", same as their account name. And they quoted me in calling Snyder "thieving and lying"; I had actually said "Bribing and lying".

Unfortunately, all the best pieces of Christory have been presumably been destroyed in the great Keurig Fire of '14, with Chris' room getting some of the worst of the lot. The Relics of Fail have been presumably lost...the Gitars of Fail, the Wall of Originals, the Megan Shrine, the hapless Clown Doll...the only relic that may have survived is the Amnyfest Ring. If Chris did salvage it, he'd never sell it, and if he did, he'd try to sell it at 10x what it's actually worth.

He used the term "red cent" recently in a Facebook message, which lends credence to the account. Besides, Chris and the truth are only distant cousins.

Meh. I have wasted a lot of money on stupid crap. I voted $50 or less but only because I would be willing to pay up to $30 for this particular picture. Why, I don't know. I don't think it would be particularly cool to own a CWC original, but I figure I've obtained so much entertainment from him over the years (and some of my artwork seemed to seriously stress him back in the day) that I'd be willing to buy it.

I would also be happy to go in on a collective forums effort to buy the drawing and turn it into some kind of banner or standard for us all. The obvious considerations would be who actually keeps hold of it and how we decide what...alterations we make to it.

Maybe someone trustworthy can take physical possession of the drawing, and fractional ownership can be calculated based on how much each member contributed to the initial purchase price.

Once that's been done, I suggest setting up an in-forum cryptocurrency backed by the artwork of an autistic manchild, or "CWC Coin."

Here's the way it would work:
-Initial ownership of the drawing will be determined by the percent of purchase price that each member contributes to the auction.
-Owners are free to transfer shares to other members of the forum as compensation for goods and services.
-The smallest possible ownership share will be 0.01% (ie: ownership of the drawing is divided into 10,000 discrete shares)
100 shares = 1 W-Quarter
10 shares = 1 C-Quarter
-All transactions and current ownership tallys will be recorded on a dedicated thread.

I'm... kind of torn on this one. As interesting as I find Chris and his little fantasy world, I probably wouldn't buy his drawings. And it's nothing personal against him, but seeing how he lives, I'm not entirely sure I would want to touch anything coming out of his house. I mean, he lives in a hoarder house, he shits himself, he has a "homeless person stench," and apparently he gives people rashes... none of that makes the idea of touching something he's handled very appealing to me.

Moreover, I feel my money could go towards better causes than buying Legos for a manchild who can already afford to buy his own Legos in the first place. Like feeding homeless people or saving the whales or just paying off my student loans. Take your pick, really. But if Chris CAN make money off his drawings, then good for him! I think he'd be better off listing it for a more realistic price. He's not exactly a famous. Half the reason people know him is because of the trolling, but he could still use it to his advantage. Hell, people like Rob Liefeld get made fun of and they still manage to find steady work (though, granted, Liefeld is still a professional and a better artist overall than OPL).

No matter how infamous and hilarious Chris' art is, the fact remains that it's total shite. Not to mention, most of his artwork is probably coated in a thin layer of grime and grease. That is not worth spending money on.

We've not yet established if this sudden burst of commercial activity on Chris's part hasn't been caused by horde spores taking over his brain and using his drawings to spread its pathogen across the planet. The one obstacle in its path is Chris's own ego refusing to sell it for an even remotely reasonable price.

10/10 would not paint a red penny for cwc. I mean I admired you guys for giving money to him, but it's obvious he took it thinking he could swindle us for more. So nope.

"But if you people who enjoy making me feel bad care about making me feel better at all, you'll pay me my thousand!!"

Heh, for a second you made me imagine him rejecting the $2,000 because he specifically wanted $1,000. He did say "$1,000 or bust" after all.

As for buying his art... No, I still consider that to be an insult to actual artists struggling to make money off their work. And like Alec, I want to see him overwhelmed by his debts. If he wants to be debt free, he must first stop buying legos and other frivolous crap and at least get a minimum wage part time job, before I hand him a single dollar. No effort = no reward.

I selected $20 (with shipping) because I wouldn't mind owning a piece of the internet that has brought me so much entertainment over the last few years. Also I would spend more on other crap that I don't actually need

God damn. You must be a colorblind quadriplegic with Parkinson's if Chris draws a heck of a lot better than you do.

Realistically, $50 but that's mostly because I'm cheap. I'd pay $100 for something custom, like a portrait of myself or something. I wouldn't want it laminated though. I get that he's paranoid that someone will draw a dick on Rosechu and that'll fuck up Toon World or whatever but like someone said in another thread, laminating tends to destroy the value of stuff.
Maybe he means putting it in a plastic folder? I can't imagine him shelling out more money than necessary when We the Trolls deserve to empty our bank accounts for him.

At any rate, I can maybe see people spending money on the more famous pictures he's done, but this is basically 5-10 dollars, and that's a stretch. However he could maybe charge $20 by taking commissions if the subject didn't upset him and make some money off of that.

Null should get the physical copy. It should be hung above his toilet and photos should be taken for all of us to enjoy.

and now we can have it for free!

The Raichu on the top is yellow. It looks like Pikachu's dick.
0/10 would not print.
