CDPR posted this on the Cyberpunk 2077 Twitter today. They know leaks are coming.

Its not like they have any right to stop anyone. I'm pretty sure there isn't a law against giving spoilers for a game you legally purchased (and Bestbuy sending out games a week early doesn't make them not legally purchased). Lets Plays and the like are already under fair use or something, so it can only really be taken down by the big social media companies who just don't want to bother with it.

I'm hoping that stuff about letting you play as Johnny in V's mind from that point forward actually sounds kinda neat. Fuck V, I don't want any of that OC garbage, I just want to play as keanu reeves in a 2077 style tuxedo fucking shit up. All the reddit-types talking about living out there 24 page google doc narratives, like come on dude. I've got keanu reeves, I've got a game with some gore, and I've got guns and cars, the inevitable John Wick 2077 playthrough is inevitable regardless of how the game turns out.

Edit: I hope the story is actually good, but if it turns to shit, I hope the gunplay, bounty hunting, cars, and skill trees are good enough that I can eek some good times out of it.

SuckerPunch never did multiplayer either, before Ghost of Tsushima Legends, and that mode is loads of fun and while it's not bug-free, the bugs did not kill the game. (Sad news is that there won't be new content for it.)

Sly 3 had a multiplayer mode. The Cops and Robbers mode was pretty fun. Infamous 2 had custom content players could share.

PS3 happened. It required installations early on.

Day One Patch is sliders.
Day Two Patch is the ability to save the face you created without it returning to default after selection.
Day Four Patch is the ability to see the face you made with those sliders in a mirror instead of only seeing the game's closest approximation of what your sliders produced.
Day Five Patch removes the sliders for stability purposes.

They never told anyone they took them out because they never had sliders in in the first place.

No sliders, the bar is just the same thing we see in the new character creation thing. Its clearly not been a thing for a very long time. If they ever said they had it they lied.

Looks like the slider thing came from people turning hills into mountains. Would say fans, but the game isn't out yet. Feels weird to say fans when a lot of the people on the hype train don't even know Cyberpunk 2020 exists.

Edit: Nevermind. Dick sliders were talked about in various articles.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if they removed the sliders because of what @Ruin mentioned earlier regarding everything clipping. That and removing third person defeats the purpose of having big ol' titties and swinging dicks.

What other sliders were we even talking about? Even the image I quote was referencing the lack of tit and dick sliders.

I don't expect there to be a height slider from a bunch of polacks. V wouldn't fit through any door.

This kind of shit further affirms my decision never to pre-order a game or pay full price for a game at launch. Fuck these stupid people and their arrogance.

Yeah pretty much every image of their game is getting DMCA'd on /v/ right now to the point a good 20-30% of the designated Cyberpunk thead has deleted links.

And yes, the faux friendly/relatable/causual tone is intensely aggravating.
