gaming i think hit a wall that makes it hard to achieve alot what your promised.

I think a lot of that has to do with the expectations of the majority of customers; which is to say a very large amount of people will play a game and if it has pretty graphics and helps them fit in with their friends that makes it good. Gameplay and design have been in the back seat for a long time now.

I still think it looks like shit but why is this game in particular getting "not enough trannies 7/10" reviews? I read a bunch of Assassins Creed Valhalla and Watch Dogs Legion reviews and neither of those games had points taken off for not having enough hairy men in dresses.

Seems a bit unfair.

To be fair, it is a cyberpunk game. But it's a lingering bitchiness that a couple outlets have towards CDPR as a result of that employee tweeting that joke and getting fired plus their reputation as supposedly being based and redpilled. Gamespot has started including that shit in their reviews for awhile (anyone remember their infamous GTA V review?), and Kotaku is Kotaku. I just find it funny that these people were mocking gamer chuds because they got mad at CDPR reworking the gender choice system, and now they're the ones getting butthurt over stupid shit.

The only way CDPR would have beaten the screaming tranny crowd is to not have added trannies into the game in the first place. Sure, they'd still be bitching about how there weren't any trannies - but since the sped devs decided to be "inclusive" and put them in the game, it now gives them a platform to get right up on their high horse about how the representation wasn't good enough, and now all the woke media journos are latching onto it en masse.

In other words, it's easier to manufacture a non-problem and broadcast it if it's actually part of the game lore than just pulled out of thin air.

Both of those is because they were essentially good but busted games marred by technical failures. Cyberpunk 2077 has only proven to be the latter, not the former yet. It needs to be good enough for people to bother spending their free time fixing the broken jank and polishing what professional incompetency couldn't.

I told you guys this game would be a buggy mess at launch. I dunno why anyone's shocked by this, Witcher 3 had a fuckton of bugs too. That said, I fully expect Cyberpunk 2077 to be a good game once all/most of the bugs are fixed.

Long story short, CDPR refused to bend the knee enough to the game journalism clique and troons on Twitter. They want the game to fail because it's a major AAA game that is ignoring them.

The crunch argument was debunked by employees. The racism argument fell flat due to Mike Pondsmith. The only one that stuck was "CDPR hates troons", even after they added custom junk.

Is Like a Dragon really the best in the series? I got tired with Yakuza 0 because everytime I wanted to walk f@#@!? anywhere some Japanese pricks would run at me and make me engage with them. Maybe I was playing it wrong, idk. But I did enjoy the story for the most part.
