Cyberpunk 2077 Grieving Thread

I wouldn't mind it running like ass on my junk pc, but that AI and driving physics are making me embarrassed even watching it. What a disappointment.
Maybe it's somehow fixable so I can buy complete edition in few years?
To fix the issues with this game they'd probably have to redo the whole thing lmao, dont get your hopes up

Remember, you are not getting to see the following content because you are male (technically bc u play as a male but what's the big difference):

Arguably the first sex scene I've seen from this game that is actually kinda hot and not utterly retarded and ruined through ridiculous amounts of camp. Can't help but feel like they've ruined the male shit on purpose now, clearly they do have the talent to make it good, but only for muh LGBTardeds. Someone with the talent to make this would have to be going out of his way to make it shitty to end up with a result like the stuff we've seen so far.
That's a primo female streamer react :heart-empty:
I thought she was stretching but she's frozen in self-restraint for her audience, and her eyes wandering makes it clear she wants to bolt off camera.

Here's that fucked up player-character skeleton from the third-person view:

I don't know what this game is doing but I've been playing stuff on medium/high at ~60fps up until now without too much trouble on my rapidly aging machine but all of a sudden Cyberpunk shows up and I'm stuck dumping setting after setting just to hit something that doesn't resemble a slideshow. I'm not greedy and have no issue with the game not looking like an advertisement reel for bleeding edge graphics but the hog on my system resources feels off. Curious if we'll get some more optimization patches down the line or more stuff like people finding that the Poles forgot to close a bracket somewhere. :optimistic:

Just saw ps4 footage and my God what a hatchet job. Lightning and texture quality are extremely poor. The game looks like Borderlands 2 and still runs at 20 fps.

Thank god there´s no Online multiplayer.

edit::
@EyelessMC
CDPR: "You can refund if you don´t want it anymore. P.S we´ll do 2 mega patches"
Snoy: "No refunds they´ll do 2 mega patches in 2 months and fuck you for pre-ordering shit"

Moral of the story is to keep your legs, your wallet and your inner consoomer shut.

Cyberpunk 2077 Refunds Being Denied by Sony/Microsoft, CDPR Not Getting Special Treatment

Cyberpunk 2077 is finally out in the wild, but unfortunately, the game is a bit of a mess on current-gen consoles. Very low resolution, a lack of detail, framerates that can drop as low as 15fps, and, of course, tons of glitches – the game is near unplayable on a base Xbox One or PS4, and in a recent apology to fans, CD Projekt Red seemed to outright suggest asking for a refund. Well, turns out it’s not as easy as that.
Over the last couple days since CDPR issued its apology, numerous people have reported having their refund requests turned down by Sony and Microsoft. Basically, if you purchase a game digitally on either PlayStation or Xbox, you have to demonstrate it’s outright broken, as in, won’t even start, in order to get a refund. A game just being ugly, janky, and glitchy doesn’t qualify. This particularly applies if patches have been promised, which is the case with Cyberpunk 2077.
We are not encouraging gamers to return to the game. We hope they will give us a chance to improve the game on the original consoles. There was one fix last weekend. There is another coming in seven days. But there is [the refund] option.
Meanwhile, SVP of business development Michal Nowakowski explained that while the company's recent apology made it seem like CDPR may be receiving special treatment from Sony and Microsoft, it’s actually not the case. In other words, seems like they jumped the gun suggesting fans ask for refunds…
You have to understand, Microsoft and Sony, for every product that is released digitally on their storefronts have refund policies. Despite various articles that have shown up, that things are being opened just for us, It’s actually not true. These policies are in place and have always been in place. They are not opened up specifically for us. Anybody who has purchased any title on PlayStation Network or Microsoft’s storefront can ask for a refund.
CDPR has set up an email address for those looking for help with refunds (helpmerefund@cdprojektred.com), so if you’re having trouble, perhaps give that a try.
Cyberpunk 2077 is available now on PC, Xbox One, and PS4, and can be played via backward compatibility on Xbox Series X/S and PS5.

Some good RPG stuff I noticed:
I called Jackie after he died and his body went missing just to see what would happen. To my surprise I got an answering machine and V got some dialogue telling him how things are going and promising to find him. It was a good bit of dialogue and nice touch given there isn't anything indicating this will do anything.

On a quest there is a moment where a dude is holding a hostage with a gun to his head. During the quicktime dialogue thing you can just shoot the hostage taker instead of trying to talk him down. I wasn't sure it would work when I pulled the trigger, its great to have that option.

Bad RPG stuff I noticed:
Remember when I said there is literally no difference between lethal and non-lethal combat? NPCs don't notice it either. If I non-lethally shoot a guy and it isn't specifically a non-lethal mission everyone acts like I killed them. It makes all the non-lethal stuff feel even more tacked on.

I thought people were posting that if you took down the cyber-psychos with non-lethal the game paid attention to that?

I remember the first time in Deus Ex when I played through and found the game being extremely diligent in noticing whether I went in like the angel of death or just giving people harmless concussions and lung damage. But to be fair, that's pretty unreasonable to expect shit from a 20 year old game to be included in stuff today.
