Cyberpunk 2077 Grieving Thread

I halfway expected the horse shit that is this video to have been ratioed but I once again underestimated the gullibility of consoomers.

Guise, the game will totally be a 10/10 when the next patch releases.

The crazy thing is that Fallout 76 is actually kind of ok now. It's not a 10/10 but it's reached the point where it's an average to good version of Fallout 4 with co op. It's going to be extremely embarrassing if Bethesda of all fucking people can fix their mess and CDPR can't.

The CEO said sorry, now it's going to be an awesome game in a year or so!
CDPR lied to gamers & investors for years but that doesn't matter anymore.
Also look at that awesome roadmap! They are keeping their promises now and will never ever lie again!

💖CDPR we love you! 💖

I could see them doing one bugfixing patch and then put all their efforts into multiplayer because "that's what gamers want."
I have a feeling theyre going to focus on multiplayer more than fixing the base game too. If thats the case, multiplayer better be bugless and amazing (lol yeah right) or else no one is going to care until they fix the base game.

I'm still don't understand why they stick to First-Person RPG where they can get away with Third-Person.
if Bethesda can do it, they messed up big time.
Their excuse was something along the lines of "if you look up in 3rd person it doesnt have the same effect. We want you to be able to look up at the city and feel like your in the city" or something to that extent. IMmErSiOn

That "apology" video was forced in order to try and stabilize the company's stock price.
That's it, cut and dry.
"The game is massive, so many complexities" no fuck you. It's awful in AI, things to do, RPG elements, ripping every feature out from the 2018 demo, I could go on.

My lone entertainment with this all remains in how long it will take the Board of Directors to force that lying Polack out.

Multiplayer won't save them. A lot of people I've talked to didn't even want multiplayer to begin with. Bring multiplayer up on reddit and most ppl are of the mind set fix single player then lets talk multiplayer.

I was thinking more like this.

Seems like the recent comments don't disagree:

Honestly I'm still thinking about getting it for my PS4. I know its apparently shit but watched a video about side quests and I was laughing at how funny they are (Keanu on the coaster, the guy who blew his dick off)

I see they will be patching it soon too. Sigh...I feel awful about how the employees were treated but still

they're gonna focus on multiplayer because trying to sell DLC would be PR suicide at this point and no one is gonna buy polish shark cards for singleplayer.

Yeah I don't know a single person online or offline that cared or wanted Multiplayer from this.

I do, I want to see what an absolute trainwreck it's gonna be. you think fo76 was bad? and that was following fo4, not some overhyped disaster everybody remembers.
CDPR couldn't even hack together a poor man's GTA clone, now imagine what requirements multiplayer has, that's a completely different ballpark. even companies whose bread and butter is multiplayer still can't properly deal with cheaters and people taking their game apart. CDPR has no experience in this regard at all.
so on the very first day expect a wave of cheaters roll over the servers ruining everyone's fun, and that's if we go with simple session based (which wouldn't make much sense, when people think multiplayer I highly doubt they envision 5v5 cyberpunk counterstrike). most likely they gonna try to ape GTAO since that makes big bucks, can't wait for reddit's ass to explode when people get their progress wiped, stopped from progressing due to technical difficulties or other players, if you can play at all and even if all of that miraculously works you still have that horde of cheaters.
and you can bet they sold that shit to their investors as lucrative, so it will be monetized one way or another, adding insult to injury.

invest in popcorn.

Believe it or not i'm playing on vanilla PS4 and having fun with it. Didn't get it until after the 6th patch so I can't comment on launch and it still has it's share of jank so it depends on your tolerance for that. Only had one crash so far but that could be luck. In it's current state i'm enjoying it enough to look past the issues but understand why others wouldn't.

I played ME:A on launch and it had a ton of issues, but not to the level of this game. I usually have an extremely high tolerance for broken ass games (Vampire Masquarade, Fallout NV and 4 etc), but CDPR really took the cake on this goddamn mess. With that said, there's at least a few standing (albeit cracked) pillars at the foundation of 2077 that make it at least functional. That last Mass Effect was a horrendously bland abortion on every conceivable level, that patches wouldn't be able to salvage. That fucking atrocity of a game was the final straw for Bioware for me. Thinking back I should've jumped ship after the ME2 controversies and never looked back, but what can I say, I was too forgiving.

I disagree. Fallout 76 keeps digging itself deeper. Sure they might fix some of the glitches (and sources say the haven't) or fix balance (again they haven't) they keep cheeping out

Like OK. They had a disastrous launch. They can fix it right?
Ok. Now they're putting in PTW things in the real money shop
Ok. Now they're making a subscription service (with things that should have been in the original like unlimited storage space and private servers)
OK. Now the subscription service doesn't actually work (private servers was a lie lol)

Like how did they fix it?
