Cyberpunk delays or something.

Replies bending over backwards to defend The Corporation with no sense of irony.

A bad game is always released but a released game is always covfefe or whatever.

So many people have quit CDPR's sinking ship they cannot even graphically overhaul a game they already made.

That's sad.
they probably looked at ps5's and xboxsxsexxxx (what that's fucking name again?) adoption numbers and figured there's not much point right now considering how few of them would pay for the upgrade to begin with. and once numbers go up no one gives a shit about a remaster released months ago, so it's sensible to release it later when more people have the consoles to sell it too.

I said it before but I do not blame the developers. I blame the higher ups who pushed and forced a quick release date even though they tried telling them that the game still needed quality assurance testing and bug fixes and other crap.
that wouldn't really have fixed it tho. it would've been somewhat of the state it is now, maybe a bit better or worse, but still not the mindblowing game to end all games they sold people via marketing.

After finally playing the PS4 copy I had been sitting on for almost a year, the game is pretty good when and where it works. It's just too unstable.

Blame the higher-ups who switched from delivering a tight, focused RPG experience to trying to make GTA: Night City. Oh, and the ones who decided it would be a good idea to re-write the story after Keanu got brought in.

The fault I would say is entirely on the higher-ups. It's clear that this game was stuck in a development hell for a period of time, likely to due to conflicting visions and poor management, and that it was pushed out the door only when they couldn't delay it any longer.

Remove the bugs it's still a subpar game, only saving grace is the story & soundtrack but the gameplay is as uninspired as it gets, nothing about this game would make me wanna play it at 100%. Anything the game offers can be offered by other games but better. People keep thinking is the bugs that make it shit but honestly shit like bethesda games at least gave me a vision of something I wanted to play beneath the buggy mess (pre-skyrim, skyrim can suck my ass). Cyberpunk at 100% is what, a subpar gta with looter-shooter mechanics? (And nothing that cool in that department either, borderlands or destiny are way better looter-shooters). I don't know what I expected, maybe something more immersive would've done the trick for me or even something to subdue my deeply settled autism with some gangbusting or whatever painting map minigame stuff, I don't know. What I know is that when they deliver the last patch fix to this game I certainly will still not buy it.

New roadmap, seems like nothing else is happening until 2022.

Just for comparison, the last roadmap from June:

I notice the latest one says patch 1.3 includes free DLC, has 1.3 been released yet or is it coming soon? I don't know how I feel about them promising free DLC soon considering their track record with promises.

Honestly I feel like their commitment to being open about everything is what's fucking them over. They said the game would have all this shit pre-release then it came out without everything they promised and everyone got mad because they were lied to. They'll release a roadmap saying when they'll add things then a few months later they'll release a new roadmap where their planned updates are pushed back and the only thing they've done is hotfixes and patches.

They haven't even released free DLC, weren't a few fully playable cut missions leaked a while ago? Would it really be too much work to just polish them up and release them? Maybe people would consider it a cheap way out but at least they're releasing something. Literally any kind of new content would be exceeding expectations.

Everytime I boot up the game to check if is there anything interesting, I am met with the non existant ai and I just quit. GTA already had the formula to make a city feel alive, they should have just copied it. The game will never be great, it may reach decent, but there is so much fluff and mechanics that are worthless, that you would need to start from cero. Nightcity should have been the star, but it will always remain an empty husk that sometimes looks pretty.
