Cyberpunk 2077 Grieving Thread

Yes and that was just an ad.
Again, imagine if one of the side quests by net watch involved busting a net grooming bbs by taking down their netrunner?
Did you forget the gig where we grab the BD of the televangelist's kid getting tortured to death?

EDIT: And since you're a fag, you forgot the whole River Ward arc where we take down a fag groomer.

It's a good lifesim/RPG, it's got a good story/setting and the gameplay is fun and engaging.
It's not perfect, but few games offer so much for US$30 (has it ever not been on sale?)

It's also pretty educational what with being fully voiced in X number of languages.
I came back for 2.0 and I really can't say that I see much in the way of rpg and/or lifesim elements. I guess being able to rent apartments? Bugs were fixed and some really dumb gameplay choices were improved, but I can't say that the game is much more than an involved action adventure game, especially compared to what it was supposed to be.

Probably worth a purchase when it's at the appropriate price-point but it's disheartening to see people praising the devs sky high for delivering a functional game years after taking the money and not delivering on the original vision they sold people.

Only real issue I have with 2.0/reboot Cyberpunk is that level scaling makes it way too easy.

On paper this should even out the difficulty but in reality while the enemies theoretically are always on your level your cyberware and loadout will almost always mean you are vastly more powerful than enemies except in the most extreme of circumstances.

I do kinda wish that enemies had semi-random cyberware so they could do shit like we do. It would be a lot funnier to have a Tigerclaws dude with a Katana, double jump, air dash, and pop a Sandevistan, but I also have a feeling that might royally fuck up newbies.

Once you get the new cyberwar at least
I did pseudo newgame+ by setting everything to 60 from the start and the Konteki drones beat me several times

Probably a minor thing but I was digging into Cyberpunk 2077’s wider universe lore and perhaps the silliest most insane thing I found was Africa & space. In the lore Africa becomes wakanda magically after the world economy collapses. Magically they’re “ahead” in space.

I’m not sure if this is tied into the ESG rating but holy damn is the kanging strong in this game.

Yup. Funnily enough the game portrays Somalia as some sort of tourist destination and when I used the in game computer which had some in game headlines the funniest larp I’ve read was Africa going to space. But then the lore says somehow the USSR sucks at space which makes no sense lol

Well, i done it.
Killed all the netrunner niggers with Netwatch and winning the last race against claire's troon ass wishes.
Fuck them both. They deserve a worse fate than hell.
It´s funny how many people choose to kill the Voodoo Boys because of how utterly hated they are.

Even the Maelstrom or Militech choice was more difficult to do.

  • Because they're niggers.
  • Nah, all depends if you want to bang the corpo chick or you gonna do a full melee playthrought (ignoring the iconic revolver).

Its clear the people behind it had zero understanding of history or global politics. They just took names of entities and said things happened to them with no rhyme or reason.

Also massive fucking weebs, hence the endless Japanesse cultural dick sucking.

Royce is a gigantic dickbag but if you refuse to work with Militech and pay with your own cash you get to walk out peacefully, whereas the VDBs try to kill you even after you do their dirty work for them. You do Netwatch's dirty work for them and they just shrug and leave you be even when things fail to pan out for them.

Not to mention their whole goal of bringing down the Blackwall is because they want ingratiate themselves to our future robot overlords. No wonder they speak French.
