Cyberpunk 2077 Grieving Thread

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
Are the gigs supposed to flesh out the game and add stuff for me to do? I started noticing these green boxes called gigs on my map.

I am at the leadup to the final mission. Was I supposed to be doing these? My stats and whatnot are just about max level. And these gigs seem really hit and miss but I guess this is the content.
Eh they're just misc quests. Like everyone else has said, quite a few lead to unique loot and finishing all of them rewards you with unique loot/cars from each fixer.

Probably better that you didn't bother with them, because you'd have been max level and OP well before the end.

Is there a patch to make Judy straight so male characters aren't railroaded into romancing the nigger voiced by a "queer" actress?
Use this. There's probably talk in the comments section on how exactly to do that. I think all you have to do is tick the "all characters romanceable" thing and temporarily flag your character as female (it's trivial to change it back). I remember way back you used to be able to do this with console commands but some tranny at CDPR got rid of it.

edit: do all of that before initiating any of the romance flag events.

Wait, the Mox? I didn't think they were all dykes.
They're not even hookers considering Lizzie's Bar has explicit rules about grabbing a braindance of a Mox member instead of chatting them up trying to get in their pants. They're all porn stars, and Judy confesses to you that the hardest part of editing their braindances is that they've done it all so many times before they're more concerned with their grocery lists than the person they're banging.

I don't want to update Cyberpunk because it will fuck up my all mods. I'm also kinda sad no one has made a real replacement for Drone Companions yet. I guess there is the charm cyberware mod, but it's just not the same.

Yeah, I know which is why I was confused.

Speaking of the whole "I edit virtual porn for a living" thing, it's dumb that she's all mopey over how clinical it's become. It's porn. It's a business. What did she expect? Especially when a lot of these hookers and pornstars are literally sexbots who can be programmed with artificial personalities to suit a customer's needs for the duration of their service.
Plus no matter what the little gooner does, the fact is she's just desensitized to porn because she spends all her time watching and editing it. I'm pretty sure she's even just casually watching a porn BD when we're introduced to her.

There's two that I know of:
-In the Cyber Engine Tweaks console enter Game.GetQuestsSystem():SetFactStr("judy_romanceable", 1)
-The save editor has an option to do this for all romanceable characters
The plebbit post I got that console command from is infighting for daring to want that the danger hair dike to love Vincent, but surprisingly most people in that thread weren't complete faggots. Not sure why anyone would, she's a cunt regardless. Doesn't she tell you to never contact her again after the Tower ending? Matter of fact don't most of your "friends" just assume the worst of you and never want to you contact them again in the Tower ending? I briefly looked it up since I don't play this game and I vaguely remember that being the case.
You can't stand romancing the decently attractive Panam because she might be some flavor of mutt but the tattooed dangerhair side cut spic is fine?
Reminds me of the "never ask a white supremacist the race of his girlfriend" meme.

The fact that this has to be a mod and not base game is sad.

you can get mantis blades from one of the cyberpsycho missions and iirc its legendary or something like that quality too
Also IMHO, the toughest fight in the game, Adam Smasher was a toddler compared to being swarmed by Maxtac in a closed space.
It's a hidden mission, you need to go to the downtown Jingguji luxury shop on two occasions, and speak with the man in the shop.

panam, but both judy and river will break it off when you contact them. only one who says otherwise is kerry, but i have my doubts

I use FlashInTheFlesh's Gunsensical and Enemy Rarity Fixes, and let me tell you now, Smasher has been pure agony to fight. Not only does his top-grade Sandevistan actually work, he's got exactly as many hitpoints as you'd expect on top of the fact he's got some of the heaviest armor in the game.
Smasher : main_boss_adam_smasher
{
priority = "SpawnableObjectPriority.Quest";
displayName = "LocKey#34487";
fullDisplayName = "LocKey#34488";
CName voiceTag = "smasher";
savable = true;
fk< LootTable > lootDrop = "LootTables.q116_smasher_keycard_lt";
}

q113_boss_smasher : Smasher
{
statModifiers +=
[
{
value = 3.5f;
modifierType = "Multiplier";
statType = "BaseStats.Health";
} : ConstantStatModifier,
{
value = 1.f;
modifierType = "Multiplier";
statType = "BaseStats.DPS";
} : ConstantStatModifier
];
contentAssignment = "DeviceContentAssignment.q113";
}
The only thing letting me win was the fact I was as borged out as him, and even then it was a long, long fight.

Anyone else just say fuck it and turn the RTX shit off? I have a 4070 Ti Super and I still can't maintain a steady frame rate with it on.

Your friends in Cyberpunk are disloyal assholes. It says a lot about the people that wrote the game.

You move heaven and earth for some of these people and they want more and expect you to accept their shitty attitudes.

tbf v goes into a coma for 2 years and a lot can happen in that time. in their perspective, you ghosted them for a long ass time making them think you're either dead or something else. i wouldnt exactly blame them for moving on in a world that moves pretty fast. that ending is specifically about how you will lose basically everything trying to get rid of this chip in your head killing you and that this is a bad choice for you to do.
