Cyberpunk 2077 Grieving Thread

Does that make Adam Smasher a hate criminal?

I hear the NCPD has a zero-tolerance policy on racism. My fellow white people, we can do better.

Adam could be trans racial. Don't be a bigot.

The splattered girl was a midget.

Killswitch makes sense, but its Cyberpunk, so everything can be hacked. It isn't a big cope to say they disn't add one to prevent the competitor from just switching it off and nabbing it.

What gets me is that the whole chest area has no armor. Makes no sense.

In the tabletop, Adam being susceptible to hacks is literally the only reason it's possible to fight him. If you don't have a Netrunner in your group, and are therefore clinically retarded, the only combat result is "you all die".

The gaming community is beyond help at this point. In this industry, you can be a conman (because that is what these poles are, cons), release a fraudulent product, literally fucking criminal shit, get your ass sued by investors, and still have your cock sucked by YouTubers trying to parade your history as some sort of underdog "comeback".

Well they are poles.

pussy shit
beat that motherfucker to death with your gorilla hands, like a man

The only way i would give even a slight shit about the Expansion and consider buying it is if they let you ride one of those mechs. Not just for one scene or for one mission but if you can run around with it ala Fallout style power armor. I don't mean the goofy looking exo-skeletons either.

They should give the expansion for free for all the BS they pulled with at launch.

Imagine having the fucking gall to ask money for an expansion to a busted ass game that you did the barest minimum to fix. I've enjoyed most of my time with CP2077 but CDPR is just another on the growing list of companies I won't be giving anymore of my money to.

Adam Smasher is depressingly easy to fight. 90% of his attacks are explosive so just slap on Boom Breaker mods. If you've put any points into Body/Athletics you should be able to heal up well enough, especially if you've got all the necessary inhalers stockpiled from the entire game. And you can also just use Skippy with Legendary Short Circuit to fry his ass with critical headshots.

the curse of bossfights in games not really designed around combat

Cyperpunk was always good didn't you know? Pure delusion. Almost as bad as the Halo stans.

I really dislike Adam Smasher as a character, and no it's not because he killed the Loli or whatever. He reeks of "Oh Sea Donut Steel" even in the tabletop. He pretty much goes in the face of everything in the game, both rule and lore wise.

The world is suppose to be highly deadly where if you're dead, you're fucking dead, but Smasher (as per lore) has a bunch of back up bodies and save ups of his brain hanging around if one of him ever gets destroyed.

He can endure cyberpsychosis because he was already a psychopath but that's not at all how it works in game and in lore, you're suppose to have heaps of humanity to have any significant cyberware on you let alone if you're gonna fully borg out. Your humanity (interpret that as you will) is the only thing keeping you tethered to reality, but if you start with no humanity then you just go wacky right away. It even goes against the new fluffed up version of cyberpsychosis, because any existing mental conditions simply compound your cyberpsychosis, they can't block or replace it.

According to the anime at least ( and even in the Cyberpunk 2077 game to some degree) he is very resistant to hacks, despite that's suppose to be the one vulnerability to full on borg characters and he is never shown to be some super genius net runner who can counter hack on the fly.

Arasaka who prizes discipline, obedience and loyalty above all somehow decides to keep around a guy who has a history of being undisciplined, disobedient and not loyal to anyone, not only that but they put him in charge of protecting the head of Arasaka.

They should give the expansion for free for all the BS they pulled with at launch.
They know they can get away with it now that all the gaming shills-i mean completely ethical journalists are back to sucking their cocks. So why wouldn't they? Your best hope is it doesn't exceed 10 bucks.

I think that one can be explained by the fact that Lucy apparently doesn't use high-end Cyberdecks as evidenced by her interface. Something about her number of buffers, I don't remember the details. She was trying to lockpick a fort knox safe with a bent paperclip.
