Cyberpunk 2077 Grieving Thread

The new VA lines for male V when you get the call from Viktor about the cyberware changes sound really fucking awful.
Loaded up a female V save to check out some of the changes and she sounds completely off too.
Also not much thought was given to players returning to old saves, you just get bombarded with phone calls.

Witcher 2 for me was the most stable and finished to me. I’m not the most qualified on the Witcher honestly, I tried all of them and was never impressed. People were telling me for years that they were some of the best games ever and I never understood why.
You can fuck women in those games. That's the only thing necessary to make 90% of normies think they are playing a masterpiece.

I initially played the game at launch. I started the Delamaine quest, delivered the last car, the game bugged, and I didn't touch it until after Edgerunners came out. Going back to it, I actually ended up enjoying CP2077. It had some bloat from annoying side content which didn't actually amount to anything (I'm never doing the NCPD activities again, the tarot card shit was annoying but infrequent and the city felt lifeless to explore most of the time - and I fucking loathe the AC-style towers) but I liked the presentation enough and the good stuff was really good (River's quest was fucked up, the Panam stuff had good action set pieces, a lot of the main cast was interesting to watch), but to get the absolute best experience the game has to offer you have to be selective about which parts of you play and engage with. Don't Fear the Reaper into the Sun ending was a really satisfying conclusion to me and I don't regret going back to it from it's piss-poor launch.

So... worth "acquiring" a copy to see what's different?
I miss Jackie bros...
It's a bit overpriced considering you're going to be buying this for the DLC.
If you can somehow, at some point get the FULL game with all DLC's at like ~20/30 bucks get it. But this isn't, and apparently will never be Shadowrun GTA like these cunts promised.

It took them 3 fucking years to implement just cybernetic rejection and actual wanted levels for example. And they have the balls to plan a sequel after all this shit. They should count themselves lucky this is all coming out after starfield fell on it's ass.

I did say "acquiring", matey.

People seem pretty pissed about how nerfed all the builds are. Is it really that bad? I played through the game the first time as a strength/reflex guy using super shotguns, machine guns, and a katana and had a fucking blast.

What is the logic behind the stamina bar when you use a gun? At this point why not add the VATS from Fallout?
Another dumb idea that came with the new patch: looting broken guns.

Trying to add some depth instead of just always being shooting and running with any build.( If you wanna do that you need to invest in Body).

What I remember most about playing this game on launch was that I had to watch some Mexican guy eat ramen for three hours, then sit around while my companions got to be the protagonists of an action game, including waiting for them to open doors. 90% of the game was talking to boring NPCs, but there wasn't even a real dialogue system anymore, because it had obviously been cut during the disastrous decade-long development cycle. It was like the buggy Polish rip-off of a Kojima game.

I'm gonna guess this update doesn't fix that stuff.

Tbh I prefer the new perk system. Its less messier and each perk you unlock feels like you unlocked a new ability you can use not to mention it is also tied to whatever cyberware you got.

I hate having to waste my point on techie just so I can craft legendary weapons
I hate how the most OP Sniper Rifle requires you to have 20 points on Body when the points themselves doesnt affect sniper weapons
I hate how fucking boring building a hacker cuz all the INT perks are just the fucking same
I hate how there are so many useless perks in each attribute

Did CDPR ever say what the start point of the expansion is? I'm getting fucking disgusted by Starfield but don't want to start a playthrough if not having it will affect things early on.
