worked perfectly fine on my machine
I swear to God...every time I hear that I just disregard the whole post. Literally a fucking meme people mock, "it works on my machine!"
do you want cyberpunk to be a bad game?
>Implying that it's a good game
People will see a game that should be dead because clearly the people who made them (sometimes just the people who publish them) wanted to hit the hype at its peak before it goes down too low for a quick buck, then use that money that people gave to them in good faith (why the fuck would you do that in the modern gaming era I don't know) to actually fix the game, and then people will suck it off. Personally I don't mind if you like the game as I've stated before, but fuck me the people giving games that fuck up like that a free pass and even go on to defend that behavior should be "chancla'd." This is not the behavior that any reasonable people should reward, or ignore for that matter from what I've seen.
that companies just put out bad games and that's it, they're bad games forever? is that worldview really much better than "CDProjekt got pushed by investors to release a game too early, then spent 2 years fixing it for free until it's better."
It is better, perhaps not so much different to our current reality. The clods who keep releasing bad games constantly will suffer the consequences, they will eventually go bankrupt, and people (like they are now) will watch and laugh as they burn. People, not normies, normies are braindead. Look at Snoy and Microshit for example. However many shit games will be eaten up by the slop enjoyers no matter how bad they are, which is why I said it's not so different to our current reality. They shouldn't have hyped an very unfinished product so heavily if they didn't want the investors to push them so hard to release it, if what you wrote is indeed true (probably is given how investors are). Bad games aren't forever, that's a foolish statement over a particular game that is bad. Just because I clown on Cybershit doesn't mean I consider all games are bad. In fact I wanted the game to be good, so that it can set an example and make others sweat about releasing their next unfinished dog shit. Forgiving a company for fucking up this bad that the only thing that saved it was a fucking anime will further showcase that companies can do whatever they want, release whatever they want, in whatever state they want, and it'll succeed. If not now, then later. No offense but this is just a bad argument.
the point being that CDPR itself promised all kinds of shit they walked back on till they don't even call it an RPG anymore. there's a big fucking difference of people making up their own unrealistic headcanon or the company itself promising basically the bestest game to end all games.
Exactly, but as
Spud said...Skyrim. You can ride that goodwill for a long time, you can promise everything under the sun, and you can get away with it because "it'll be good later."
But it would be nice if gamers would stop being overdramatic bandwagon faggots who decry a game as the worst thing ever only to do a complete 180 when the most bare minimum of improvements are made.
Exactly what I said, it's silly and shows the mindset of people and the state of gaming.
Cp2077 Is mediocre as fuck you dumb retards. Cdpr are scummy as fuck AND Witcher 3 Is the only good game those pole faggots have ever done
Witcher 3 being the only good game is a bit of a stretch, I'll take Witcher 1/2 over 3 any day. I'll...take Witcher 3 over the fucking shows they made any day as well.
And that's exactly why AAA will continue to push out early access titles.
Same brain at this point.
but it's a lot more than "minimum improvements" I feel.
I'll be honest, this 2.0 is more like a proper 1.0. What the game should've started out as, not what it became after...2 years? 3? Even then from what I've played, seen, and read from the patch notes, it doesn't feel very different. Haven't played in a while so I might have to recheck.
Fuck that spyware. That's not a jab at you or anything I just really hate everything that involves Epic.
I'm glad I supported it so CDProjekt had the chance to improve it. you seem to be under the impression that studios just intentionally release the bare minimum because fuck it. you really think a team of 200 creative people or however many worked on Cyberpunk went in every day, for almost a decade, and was just "yeah, let's do the bare minimum. who gives a shit" and if you agree that investors forced the game out earlier, how does boycotting it fix that?
Man that's some high grade copium, I'm sorry but that just...no. Firstly "I'm glad I supported CDPR despite them fucking up a game's launch catastrophically, borderline robbing people, because they fixed it later." The fact that it's
common for people to even want to wait potentially years for a game to be in a decent state after launch is retarded and not dropping a game if it comes out like garbage
even if it improves itself later on it part of why this industry is awful. Secondly "you seem to be under the impression that studios just intentionally release the bare minimum because fuck it" have you seen what gaming has become? That's exactly what happened. Maybe not intentionally, but that's what it turned into when they realized the oven was broken and the game hasn't even been cooking for most of the "development" time. 200 creative people, God damn, too many cooks in the kitchen. Thirdly, boycotting is a hit or miss so you're partly correct in asking how it could fix it. But as I mentioned earlier, if people just...stop supporting after such catastrophic fuck ups that could really push the message that this shit won't be tolerated anymore. As I also mentioned before...normies exist. So boycotting only really works in niche cases. Sucks but that's reality. 5:00 in the morning and I'm making a mini essay, man I'm bored aren't I?
I wonder why Night City is influenced by LA and Tokyo, yet has no cute women.
Such a small highlight, deserved though.
yes
yes
yes
play the polish dub
I have to disagree with some of that. The roleplay was fucked to begin with, part of the fucked foundation I mentioned. That hasn't really changed. The city's state (heh) has certainly improved so I will agree with that. And that third yes goes back to the first one, the roleplaying. The options still feel weightless. I'm willing to bet most of the people actually playing the game now aren't the fools who bought the game. There's also the "maybe I judged you so hard" effect that gets under my skin. I shouldn't care, but I can't help it, a bigger pile of dog shit doesn't make the lesser pile of dog shit not dog shit anymore.
