Some of the stuff that wasn't in your face was particularly eye catching to me. The black wall, AI possessions, etc.
The coolest thing the game featured was its depiction of AI in PL. Genuinely frightening and completely made the dlc.

but i dislike Morrigan's bitchness with the concept of love.
bitch literally turned into animals to get fucked, what were you expecting?

the entire lore regarding AI even on the books is honestly kind of retarded as people take stupid pills by the handful, i will check PL once my bigger nvme is delivered but if it's like anything i've seen then i think they upped their medications to retard pills now with a washing of retard juice, including the "no happy endings" shtick which was equally meh on the base game but i've read they changed a few dialogues from 1.5 onward, including reworking panam's ending?

What I really liked was the sound design and the OST. It does irk me that some of my more favored stuff wasn't even in the official OST like "Johnny's Grave" that guitar riff is really nice, they do use it in other stuff though like in the Temperance ending track somewhat.
Like the theme with the electric cello, it's barely in the official OST despite being the most memorable piece.

This one?
The only times I remember it being used was when meeting Hanako at Embers and when the player is in mikoshi deciding how to end it all. I know it was used more than that but I'm drawing a blank on exactly when.

Doing the secret ending and letting Johnny take your body is stupid.
Doing the assault with Rogue and letting Johnny take your body is somewhat interesting seeing the coffin and Johnny lammenting about it

I love Rite of Passage. The OST is great but that really stands out. I’m glad they didn’t overuse it.

What I dislike is that a fair bit of the OST is generic techno crap or soft quasi-ambient stuff that all tends to blend together, whereas stuff that isn't like Rite of Passage, the cello version of The Rebel Path, and Bells of Laguna Bend are unforgettable for how they work with the scene.

As an example of what I hate, the two scav combat songs are nearly identical, and I despise fighting Sixth Street because Patri(di)ots is just an awful song. Honestly the combat songs are honestly just pretty bad in general. The Witcher 3 combat tracks were all a lot better.

Johnny Silverhand Actor Keanu Reeves Says He 'Absolutely' Wants to Be in Cyberpunk 2

ohnny Silverhand Actor Keanu Reeves Says He 'Absolutely' Wants to Be in Cyberpunk 2 - IGN.webp
The question is, could Reeves actually play Johnny Silverhand in Cyberpunk 2 even if he wanted to? In other words, could Johnny Silverhand return in the sequel, given the events of Cyberpunk 2077?
Warning! Spoilers for Cyberpunk 2077 follow:

While many players believe Cyberpunk 2077 provided a suitable ending for Johnny and V's story, depending on which ending of the game CD Projekt makes canon for Cyberpunk 2, the door may be left open for Reeves' return. Could Johnny return in cameo form perhaps, having downloaded himself into someone or something else? Canon ending dependent, could V end up becoming Johnny Silverhand in mind and body for Cyberpunk 2? Or perhaps it would be better to let Johnny and V rest and go for a fresh start with the sequel.
There are many unanswered questions when it comes to Cyberpunk 2, but in May Cyberpunk creator Mike Pondsmith teased some previously unknown details. Pondsmith, who worked closely with CD Projekt on the 30 million-selling Cyberpunk 2077 and was involved in promoting the game ahead of its 2020 launch, was asked about the scope of his involvement with Orion at the Digital Dragons 2025 conference.

A History of Keanu Reeves in Video Games

Responding, Pondsmith admitted he wasn’t as involved this time around, but said he does review scripts and had been to CD Projekt to check out the ongoing work.
“Last week I was wandering around talking to different departments, and seeing what they had, ‘Oh look, this is the new cyberware, what do you think?’ ‘Oh yeah, that’s pretty good, that works here.’"
And then, the morsel on the sequel: that it features a brand new city in addition to the Night City we know from Cyberpunk 2077. Pondsmith described this new city as “like Chicago gone wrong.”
“I spent a lot of time talking to one of the environment guys, and he was explaining how the new place in Orion, because there’s another city we visit — I’m not telling you any more than that but there’s another city we visit. And Night City is still there. But I remember looking at it and going, yeah I understand the feel you’re going for this, and this really does work. And it doesn’t feel like Blade Runner, it feels more like Chicago gone wrong. I said, ‘Yeah, I can see this working.'”

Should Johnny Silverhand Return for Cyberpunk 2?

Yes!

No!

It depends how it's handled (let us know in the comments!)

It’s worth pointing out that Pondsmith’s comments do not necessarily suggest the Cyberpunk sequel will feature a future Chicago, rather a city that has the feel of a dystopian version of the city. It may well be a take on future Chicago, but that isn’t confirmed based on these comments. There is also some debate about whether Cyberpunk 2 will expand upon the Night City that’s in Cyberpunk 2077 or feature a new version, and the extent to which it is playable.
Also back in May, CD Projekt revealed that a sequel to Cyberpunk 2077 is officially in pre-production and will be called Cyberpunk 2. The studio also said that nearly 100 developers were already working on the game, which was previously referred to by the codename "Project Orion." That number had grown to 116 by the end of July.
CD Projekt co-CEO Michał Nowakowski also seemed to confirm rumors that the sequel won’t be out until at least 2030 by stating that the studio’s “journey from pre-production to final release takes four to five years on average.”
"Somehow, Johnny Silverhand returned..."
Hopefully it means Keanu Reeves will play a different character, don't know how Johnny Silverhand can come back after the multiple endings of 2077.

my guess is flashback sequence since thats the only way it'd realistically work (or having temperance ending as an option for influencing what happens in the story)

Please God no, you already derailed the narrative of the first game. Fuck off and make another shitty John Wick movie.
to be fair, according to the leaks it's not keanu reeves's fault.
it's the same shit with debra wilson.

The troon flag doesn't make sense, not because autogynephilia will go extinct by 2077, but because there's such severe backlash against the faggot cult (and the corpos that keep nurturing them) happening now in 2020-5, it's unlikely the pastel CGA flag will even be relevant in the nearest future. At least, that's what I would predict.
Claire feels completely out of place, like it was clearly added in to pander to the group. I suspect a tranny put them in the game. No one else talks about it, it seems sexuality is pretty fluid in the hellscape of NC, so the trans thing just screams of attention.

Also, the voice, all I can fucking hear is Chris Chan. I love the quest, it always makes me laugh, that little frog voice. The Beast is a pile of shit anyway, I would rank it very very low.

So fluid that, again, Claire has absolutely no implants visible on her, - something that can't be said for around 99.9% of Night City's populace, - despite her allegedly being a troon.

To be fair to Keanu, PL had vastly better writing for Johnny and made him not just a two dimensional insufferable douche, unlike the base game. When he had non-retarded writing to work with, Keanu gave a perfectly good performance. I'd have no objections to his having a role in other games.
