In London they have a bus wrapped in that lovely sickly yellow with Fem!V on it. And in my town my local Tesco has empty PS4 boxes with no discs inside that you can take to the counter to pre-order and with "November 19, 2020" stickered as the release date. There's gonna be a lot of reverse ferreting thanks to this. I suspect there's something that's come up that needs fixed, possibly on just one of the console platforms (because they refer to the troubles of getting it over the line on 9 platforms in their statement), but they can't do it before 19 November unless the entire staff of CDPR are camped out under their desks and binged on speed for the next three weeks - and with constant rumours of crunch the management probably thought another delay was less bad optics than the aforementioned amphetamine-fuelled binge-fix. And they can't delay just that platform because of deals with distributors and suchlike.

I'm thinking they're realising they'll have to scrap a lot of features that are buggy as fuck right now if they released soon. Some here have already mentioned various mechanics like wardrobes being removed, and that's only going to become exponential if there are more unnecessary but "immersive" systems that don't really work yet.

There is 0 way they're delaying it because of bugs, especially so suddenly, without emplyees knowing.
