Cyberpunk 2077 Grieving Thread

That sounds awful. GTA Online is cancer. Those crappy old multiplayer mods for Vice City and San Andreas were loads more fun.
You do realize i was only predicting monetization right?
And before you start, no, its highly unlikely to be even halfway as exploitative as GTAO is. Gwent (their free to play collectible card game) is the least predatory game of its type on the market. By this example i expect 2077O to be similar.
Reasons for that might not be completely altruistic either.

You mean you don't work at Cyberpunk 2077?

I feel like I have been misled.

I don't think they can afford to delay it again. This delay caused their stock to drop by a fourth of its value.
It dropped by 10% and stabilized within a week. Stock market is prone to overreaction but not for very long.

I think it will be delayed 6 months to 1 year and it won't live up to the hype.
I'm not saying it's a bad game but the hype is insane & the expectations are way too high.

I'm...feeling that it will get delayed by a few more months to be honest. I dunno why...just a strange feeling I'm getting. The marketing has sorta slowed down despite it only being a "month" away from release...

I have heard rumours it was delayed to early 2021, but it was posted by some schizo "leaker", but I have heard some "My friend works at CDPR" posts on /v/ that claim it may be getting another delay.

whats happening on right now /v/ (im mentally ill so i check sometimes) :
>PS5 retards are fighting with XBOX retards who are kinda fighting back, sometimes
>about half of the catalog is filled with coomer bait pepes and wojaks, my filters are autojannying 37 treads, every legitimate tread is dead in minutes
>there's a nuclear meltdown about the Demons Souls remake, i have some complex opinions about that myself but the spergs are clearly just mad af about GrApHiCs
>there's a nuclear meltdown about AC Valhalla, not about the game being badly designed, about SJWs and Kangz
>there's a nuclear meltdown about Watch Dogs Legion, not about the game being badly designed, about graphics, raytracing and /pol/ shit
>there's about to be a nuclear meltdown on the next CoD
>people were happy about some happening in Ubisoft HQ, now they're mad because it was a false alarm

and yet, somehow, this is where people gamers get their news from
sad

My solution is to not get emotionally invested in video games. While waiting for this to eventually come out, hopefully before Star Citizen, I'm having a blast playing the surprisingly not shitty No Mans Sky.

Im catching up on RDR2, and its surprisingly alright. After GTAV i thought id never give Rockstar any time of day but here i am, apart from the shooting its kinda comfy.

That all sounds so tiresome, people have sucked almost all the fun out of video games by being such spergs about everything, if it isn't /v/ style spergery it's ResetERA and Kotaku style spergery, the whole climate and culture surrounding video games is just tiresome now.

Whatever happened to just taking a fucking chill pill and having fun? For far too many "gamers" they don't actually enjoy video games, they enjoy whining about video games.

So /v/ is acting as usual?

Well you're entitled to your opinion getting it's ass beaten by mine.

This never existed.

Back when the system requirements were initially released, I think I remember them saying to stay tuned about what it'd take to max the game out. I'm hoping that gets covered in the hopefully last Night City Wire. I don't want to end up doing something dumb like just buying a 3080 when I'd need to upgrade my cpu or ram also.
