I too judge games based on a 300p video of pre-release last-gen console ports.
It has been clear for a while that the console versions are a mess and that the machines are just straight up not capable of running the game, I mean it fucking failed certification for christs sake and that usually means either the game does not run or is bricking consoles.
And just to point out that there is no new-gen version yet, footage from PS5 is just the PS4 game hastily thrown together to get it running on the new hardware.
As for the PC version, which is the actual game as intended, the console versions literally existing just to trick Sony and Microsoft into paying for their advertising, It a fucking AAA game of course its going to be a bug ridden mess, what idiot thinks otherwise.
Everyone knows not to buy AAA at launch and anyone that does gets everything they deserve, add on the fact that this is an open-world rpg with branching story paths, its going to be basically unplayable for 3 months.
None of this is to defend CDPR, or suggest any of this is right or fair, or to say that charging however much new games cost nowadays for something that barely works is anything but bullshit, but to say that writing the game off as shit because of this is hopelessly premature.
If in june/july of next year you show me high-end pc footage of a fully patched game still being a glitched mess, then I will write it off, but more likley I will be able to pick this up + dlc for about £20 in 18 months and have a good time.
