Cyberpunk 2077 Grieving Thread

I'm still a bit miffed.
All endings except one fuck you over, and its not even a path to successfully fight off Johnny and V celebrating, its just V... leaving.
Why did nobody think of that one, is that what V wants anyway? Why is a little self-contained victory not even thought about for motivation or an ending, but it has to be about the whole city fucking V over for some reason?

It's not the ending I'll go for but it is kind of ballsy to put in an ending where you literally end up a mindbroke, corrupted meat puppet. Never thought I'd see that in a AAA non hentai game.

I respect them for taking the risk.

I doubt the backlash toward the endings are going to be as big as ME3. That had two games of build-up.

The backlash towards Mass Effect 3 came mostly from the writers deciding to completely change Shep's character and make them an overly emotional retard who makes terrible decisions for no reason. I mean Shep gets PTSD in ME3 from watching a single child die. if you played the first two games you would know he/she is not the kind of person who would get PTSD.

We'll have to wait and see the size on all platforms. Most don't do differential patching, and will instead do file replacement, resulting in bloated patches if they do lots of small changes spread over multiple large files.

Eh, I can excuse the PTSD. By that point Shepard had seen a lot of shit, and if you see too much shit your mind starts to crack eventually. I actually liked that bit.

The bullshit explanation for the genocide cycle from the Godchild was the real pisser for a lot of people. Bioware spent three games building up the Reapers as this unstoppable force that had incomprehensible motives for the slaughter... the "AI bad" motive they cobbled together last minute was just cheap and made it all seem like a waste while at the same time completely obliterating the eerie, Lovecraftian vibe the Reapers gave off. What's so incomprehensible about "AI bad"? And to top it all off you had the kool-aid ending?

That's enough of me being a derailing faggot, anyway. I just want to get back to laughing at another AAA failure.
