There is a side quest that take her out on a date, but Johnny is in control of V the entire time. Its the same side quest that lets you have the option of getting a tat. Its also the mission in which you get Johnnys car, you also get to see his corpse. Its like that mission in TW3 dlc, but not as funny.

You know what's kinda ironic? This game is a dystopian horror future, but I bet no character in this whole game says the n-word once or does anything else that could be seen as truly offensive. Of course I could be proven wrong, but I really doubt it. A company that fires employees over a joke on Twitter has no backbone to do anything truly edgy. Instead they make it super PC and compensate the PC-ness with ugly clothes, dirt maps and tattoos to give the pretense of grittiness without actually being gritty.

It's a dystopian future because no one says the n-word or does anything truly offensive. Based CDPR is showing us the endgame of leftism through 9th-dimensional backgammon.

Technically you'd be accurate. In a way, this would be what wokeism might look like, if left unchecked for a few couple more decades.

That movie is actually brilliant, and definitely deserves a rewatch. It's becoming frighteningly accurate.

I could overlook a lot of this and just enjoy the game while turning my brain off. However, the forced and constant presence of Johnny with no ability to rip him out and the "no good endings cause this is edgypunk and happiness doesnt exist" endings are really sending spears through even my shitty expectations.

I didn't care about Keanu before. This game might make me actively hate him.

I think it was a huge mistake to make him a large part of the plot. I get that he's Mike Pondsmith's OC and a part of the setting, but you're honestly trading out Geralt for an NPC who you can't get rid of. Its still not really your story and more of a part of Johnny's plot, you just get to choose how Johnny ends. You're barely a consideration. That's not what an RPG is all about.

The shitty endings are barely original. Two of them are you just becoming a meat puppet, one of them is you dying and the other is just you leaving. Wow, so awesome. Fucking Fallout: New Vegas still has the best series of endings. How do people keep failing to top that? Its hilariously incompetent. If you wanted Keanu to have Keanu be a main, just make him. Don't tease us with 'this is your story! oh btw the main plot revolves around this dead asshole'.

And stop fucking trying to please the trannies, holy shit. I am tired of these companies bending over backwards for 0.1% of the population who will never touch what they sell.

I didn't notice too many bugs, but the ones I saw were pretty bad IMO. But I think they will be fixed with a patch.

2. A couple of floating phones and hearing people talk. But no one was there. As I walked around.

3. This one I had to reload an earlier save. Finished a mission, said I had to talk to Jackie. Jackie was inside building. I could see him in open doorway. But I couldn't get back in because a guard wouldn't let me go back in.

My one gripe so far.

I went with nomad because I thought it would be cool going into Night City for first time. But that is taken away from you. You start off outside city, do a quick job where you meet Jackie. Then when they say you are going into city. It cuts to a montage of you and Jackie doing jobs in ci6, meeting people, ect.. then it says "6 months later.." so you don't get to check out city by driving in first time. If you know what I mean.

The only difference, it seems, is FONV didn't require you to put up with these celebrity OC donut steels for a major percentage of the plot. If you didn't like the BoS you could just rek them

So...wait for patches then. In what length of time did you experience those bugs, because it reads like those seem really close together? Is it gamebreaking or is it Fallout 4/Bethesda bugs level of bad?

I think you summed up my biggest complaints pretty well. No patch or mod will fix the fact that it feels like Pondsmith is just using this game to jack off his OC and your face is supposed to provide the facial. I don't give a singular shit about Johnny. I want nothing to do with Johnny. Why would I play an open-world RPG just to be the supporting cast to a character that I can't tolerate before the game is even in my hands?

Why is it that DA: O, a game from 2009, is still one of the better RPGs that I've ever played? I don't need the world to revolve around my character, mind, but it leaves a sour taste to watch it revolve around another character. If the entire game is just escorting Johnny to him mindbreaking you and nuking Night City to prove some autistic "nobody's the good guy" point, I'm gonna ask my friend if he can refund the game.
