It will be played with 3.5. Given I'm currently in a campaign and ready to join another, I'm not sure when this will start. I just wanted to get a gauge on who would be interested, if at all, and what level of interest.

It is a brand new world. You will have limited knowledge of the maps and will have to learn how the world works. Magic is a specialty, so if you would like to go that route, be ready for a complex background and certain penalties. Races work differently, as do deities.

This post was really vague, but I would like to keep the gameplay as such until any of this comes to fruition, if it comes to bear fruit.

Welcome to Krioran.

Not played actual 3.5 in awhile.

Which races are available, and how is the game to be played?

Eh, I'm kind of interested, but I probably have too much stuff going on. I'd be happy to provide GM material and ideas though.

That interesting. How many players do you take?

Jesus, sorry for not responding.

All races are playable, but non humans have to adhere to racial traits intensively, and have secret knowledge they cannot share(would be explained).

@Randall Fragg i would probably like to bounce some ideas off you if I do get this off the ground.

Fuck off.

5-7 players are optimal.

As long as you have experience and can be surprised and intrigued by a new campaign setting, that'd be fine;)

When you say all races, can it be anything playable?

'cause technically speaking you can be a Gnoll, and without having to worry about level adjustment or anything.

I don't really remember tons of 3.5, but I'm up to date with Pathfinder (which is similar but different) , 4e (which is awful and different) and 5e (which is alright but different)

You might need to expand on 'adheres to racial traits' (do I need to play as an idiot because of my negative int modifier or something?) and secrets, but that's still cool.

I was wrong on the level adjustment tho, but thankfully it's only 1.

Sorry to double post, but I've just realised that the poor gnoll bastards get 2 humanoid levels, crippling them into uselessness. Perhaps I'll think of something else to be.

So I know you're still planning this, but what sort of setting is it? I mean, so I can plan things like backstory?

Can I play as a gorilla? There's stats in Savage Species for making a PC awakened animal.

That's a pretty good find, it wasn't in the list of books I managed to grab either.

Might be able to shave some existing monsters down to make them...more playable and less crippled by levels of humanoid.

Or I could also be an awakened something. Like a shrub or bush or something, 'cause plants are suggested too. Of course, I'd need to think of a reason why an awakened shrub would go adventuring in the first place.

It has a picture of a dinosaur with a sword too, which is hilarious.

How's this shit going down.

Post by post style or Roll 20 style

sorry for lack of response. i think im going to have to wait until one of the campaigns im in ends or goes on hiatus, to start this. so, sable we can return to those questions if this ever gets off the ground. randall, yes. bones, roll 20
