If I dressed lolita, I'd be super pissed about it because it's for the niche fashion statement, not to get their rocks off and letting everyone know about it.

This, and also don't forget when one of these DDLGers reblogs the post, they show it to all their followers AKA other weirdos, who may come to your blog for more content, and so on. I think it's perfectly reasonable for these blogs to not want them anywhere near their posts.

I’m guessing this was already mentioned somewhere on this thread, but is “Kink Shaming” even that legitimate of a complaint/accusation? It only seems to “exist” when someone states that they get off the best to in-depth pedophilic sexual roleplay and someone says “that’s gross”. Isn’t that more like, I don’t know, a normal human reaction to a fringe fetish?

I was just at an ice cream parlour and I ran into a DDLG couple. A 6 foot tall 30 something (probably trans?) woman, completely flat chested and wearing roller skates an ill fitting "baby girl" tee shirt, and a 40+ man wearing a football sweatshirt and pants with a chain attachment. The woman roller skated around singing while the man ordered. Once he had finished ordering she interrupted the waitress with a "Daddy!" "Yes princess?" "I want a corn dog! Daddy please can I get a corn dog?" "Oh I don't know you've been a bad girl lately.""Oh please daddy if you get me a corn dog Ill play with yours when we get home."
Meanwhile the poor waitress is just standing there horrified. "So um, will that be all or should I add that to your order...?"

There is a line between fantasy and reality, and a more productive way to deal with fetishes. Fetishes are unhealthy maladjustive coping mechanisms, and people need to realize that keeping them controlled as possible while having an outlet that DOESN'T interfere in reality is the healthiest way they can be handled, with behavioral therapy a must for the more severe cases.

Projecting a fetish into your life and identity is the exact opposite of what you're supposed to do, FFS.
