The overwhelming response on the left is BLM had nothing to do with it and the shooter was a rogue inappropriately acting out on valid concern.

Basically the same limpdick treatment given to Orlando and San Bernardino

Do you know why this has happened?

Because the crazies chased everyone out on the left. Every goddamned left-leaning community online, with a few exceptions, has been co-opted, taken over, and those that aren't fucking insane kicked out. People on the left who are career democrats are considered persona non grata on the part of these intellectually-dishonest bellends. If you disagree at all, you're labelled a threat, and you are forcibly silenced, and expelled from the echo chamber before you can infect anyone else with troubling notions of personal liberty. Everyone sane who was on the left is still around, they've just been systemically deplatformed and dubbed threats (in a fashion my mom used to call "I think, therefore I'm dangerous"). This current situation has forced so many people into silence that it boggles the mind. I'm reminded of what happened to the Republican party during the later days of Bush's term, but that was nothing compared to how much of a clusterfuck this has been.

I've chronicled enough cows who use or are part of Social Justice to make that determination.

Ironically, this is also what has caused Anti-SJW cows to emerge as well, as the knee-jerk reaction and lack of a platform for the sane meant that anyone who could keep together a community and wanted to actually discuss things migrated outward. Some wound up so alienated, so radicalized, and so fucking angry that they've lost their ability to reason, and become the likes of Homer. On some levels, you can't even blame them when those opposing them have gone through steps like ruining livelihoods, promoting false criminal allegations, and breaking up families.

A lot of people need time in the shame cube.

Minnesota seems to be the first area where a riot is taking place:

http://www.foxnews.com/us/2016/07/1...102-arrested-after-protests-turn-violent.html

100 arrested, molotov cocktails, rocks, gun fire. Black Panthers are now in play. This is going to end well I'm sure considering Minnesota has the highest level of Syrian immigrants in the country and has been a not very publicized area of extremism. Black Panthers and BLM in an area which has been a hotbed for extremist views... yeah.... nothing could go wrong.

I doubt that you're going to see "poc" linking hands. Syrian refugees probably want nothing to do with Black folks, and have been in warn-torn environments. Syrians, just like Latinos in Southern California and Miami, will be done with Blacks with no form of guilt whatsoever.

A radical motivated by the ignorant, vitriolic "white people hate us! they don't care if we die!" nonsense BLM's thrown around since the beginning.

Asians (East, Southeast, South, and Middle Eastern included) and Hispanics hate Blacks too. They do care if we die though; they revel in it.

Just stating objective facts that anyone can see. I'm not happy about it, but it is what it is.

I just got done reading a story about that mother of 4 kids that got shot in the legs by this guy. She was black too, I guess the Black Supremacist didn't actually care much about black lives y'know, shooting a black woman like that and sending her to the hospital.

I was listening to a police scanner from the los Angeles police department I guess. There's apparently a BLM protest at city hall. If it's in the news, you heard it from me first.

Yeah they blocked traffic for a bit, the police came by after 10min told them not to block traffic so they moved to the sidewalks. No arrests. Everyone from the police to the protesters were very tense and afraid.

BLM protested in my city today. No arrests and a peaceful protest.

Shit the people I've met who hated American Black people the most are Nigerian's and Jamaican's.

This has happened as part of a general trend on the left-wing across the whole of the Western World. Largely as Social Democracy and other left leaning parties have struggled to find themselves a raison d'etre after the collapse of the "old order" in 1991. Previously they were able to offer themselves up as a moderate alternative to the crazies on the left who predominantly were marginalized, or were "willing fools".

As reality set in, these parties drifted before then attaching onto part of the neo-liberal orthodoxy that replaced the old "Capitalists versus Commies" rhetoric we had previously enjoyed.

Thankfully the Democrats in the USA are enough of a broad church to have largely resisted being "taken over" and the Tea Party in the Republicans has now become absorbed as a general faction of the Republicans. This is the benefit of the US's two party system. It burrs off the edges.

The UK's Labour Party.... has not been so lucky with the very SJWish and Purge-Happy Momentum Movement basically creating a Labour Party now hilariously disconnected from both the electorate and Party Membership at the same time. They're being directed by old groups who were highly organized such as Militant Tendancy and Socialist Worker, who were purged from Labour back in the 1980s.

The US has been somewhat lucky in its so-called "Culture Wars" due to the fact that all these groups still operate on their own little bubbles only and seem hilariously incapable of translating that into actual attempts at political power. They're naive enough to think that only screaming and causing inconveniences will get them their way. Nobody among their movements is old enough or wise enough to actually direct these groups properly. BLM is the most obvious example as they have a vague aim (Black Lives Matter) but no real end point of any kind of satisfaction.

This is perhaps what makes these groups so... unusual and in some ways dangerous. There is no end point to what they want for society as their ideology changes and morphs almost hourly. It also makes them completely ineffective long term.

Houses built on sand, and all that.

"WHAT DO WE WANT?"

"WE DON'T KNOW!"

"WHEN DO WE WANT IT?"

"NOW!!!"

Let's hope they took Obama's advice from a couple of months ago

He praised the movement as “really effective in bringing attention to problems,” but said young activists should be more willing to work with political leaders to craft solutions instead of criticizing from outside the political process.

“Once you’ve highlighted an issue and brought it to people’s attention and shined a spotlight, and elected officials or people who are in a position to start bringing about change are ready to sit down with you, then you can’t just keep on yelling at them,” Mr. Obama said.

“And you can’t refuse to meet because that might compromise the purity of your position,” he continued. “The value of social movements and activism is to get you at the table, get you in the room, and then to start trying to figure out how is this problem going to be solved.”

There was a time when the Democrats were the party of the worker’s unions and the Republicans were the party of the wealthy business owners. Nowadays the business owners play both sides of the board, and unions are pretty much dead in the water.

The poor have always been "willing fools", told that this time Things Will Be Different when the old guard is thrown out. It very seldom works out for them. One of Reagan's lasting legacies was the conflation of poverty and moral failure. (and the conflation of poverty and blackness.)

Most of them don't care about Obama. I tried to explain to one person how there probably wasn't much he could do with his term being almost over and she threw a fit. When he made that speech about how this was an American issue, they got nothing out of it. She and a lot of blm members were only angry that he didn't say "black lives matter". They don't give a shit about what he has to say anymore unless it makes them happy.

So The Blaze has the only interview with the shooter's family and honestly its very eye-opening. The mother, father and white step-mother all discussed him and what led to this.

It's definitely worth a listen to, especially as they have decided not to give interviews to anyone else

When does the interview actually start? I don't really care much for Glen Beck and just want to hear the interview.

The Dallas police officers killed in this tragedy had their funeral today. The POTUS was there and spoke to the mass... about the need for gun control and how racist cops are.

Sigh... can Obama get any more passive-aggressive with his speeches?

Obama is an always was a stooge of the New Left movement. The only time he says something his constituents don't want to hear is the odd time he's told millenials to grow a backbone. And even then it's always pretty limp-wristed.

Frankly, Hillary is far worse. I can't believe I'm in a spot where Donald is the best case scenario.
