More or less. Black people often become niggers because of some or many of the things I listed (and then some). I know "socioeconomic factors" has become a meme, but there's truth to it. I think it would still be considered harassment if the black guy didn't leave the white guy alone after being asked to go away. If the black guy said he wanted to kill some crackers and start a race war, I'd say the same thing. Admitting to starting shit deliberately means you can't claim self-defense.

That isn't how plane tickets to another country work. They are for specific dates. This ticket was for May 22nd, today (L, A). You can't buy one and "save it for a rainy day" because the price changes dramatically depending on many factors. According to this guy who seems to have some contact with Chud, he had the ticket to go to a poker tournament in Instanbul.

An investigator testified that surveillance video from the courthouse showed Eatherly approach a man with a selfie stick before walking away. The defense said the man was then seen grabbing Eatherly and placing him in a headlock before shots were fired.
This seems incredibly good for Dalton's defense if the headlock part is true. At that point, being grappled, he would have no ability to retreat or effective methods to push the other guy away.

it's not really an equivalent case since the person shot was walking away (likely the biggest factor in the guilty verdict regardless of what the prosecutors argued in regards to whether or not saying "nigger" voids self-defense), it was more of an example of an altercation that started because someone was called a nigger who would go on and commit assault and then get shot in self-defense.
The biggest thing I feel like a lot of posters in this thread have been failing to get their heads around is that even if the Black did attack him over an insult, (which the newer stuff I've seen suggests Chud drew first) the reasonable action to take is not to immediately magdump him. There is no good reason to immediately pump someone full of lead unless they're threatening you with a weapon. If an unarmed person is getting confrontational, and you feel threatened, you draw, tell them to back down, and only fire if they do not back down, and honestly, beyond that, if you're able, you should take non-lethal shots.
