I'm guessing his phone broke and he can't make any new videos or upload older ones, and with his FB profile having been removed, he has no real way of communicating. Can anyone who follows him on Twitter give us an update as to if he's posted there recently?
 
Since Dan's a week behind on uploading, we don't know if he actually went to this telemarketing job last week. But considering Dan's history, why would anyone expect him to follow through? He never lasts more than a day or two at a job before quitting with a million excuses. Also, whenever he talks about the job he says they're open 7 days a week, he will work 8 hours a day, and figures out his "salary" based on that ($600/day is what he expects). No job is going to start you off at 56 hours a week, so that makes me wonder if he actually talked to anyone at the job about a schedule or it's all in his head (again). Because it sounds like Dan's usual "It's so simple" stuff that he never does.

Also, as far as Dan's dad getting evicted, that does explain why his dad has been on his ass lately, calling Dan autistic and daring to criticize him.

I just watched that video, but he never actually says why his dad is being evicted. I mean, it's simple enough for the manager to tell him that Dan is not allowed to visit anymore, but to actually evict him is another thing entirely.

Dan literally says, "My dad is being evicted because of me." The manager probably didn't like the publicity Dan's dad brought on their place by having a sex offender stay there. Not a lot to explain really.

In the last half of this video, while Dan says he's not attracted to children, he also wonders if there are places where sex with kids is legal with their parents' permission. He just about says that sex with children should be legal if they enjoy it, though he sorts of back off right before finishing the thought.
 
A landlord can't just evict somebody unless they violated a lease agreement. If the dad is paying the rent, if the place is clean, and now that his son is gone, I don't think they can kick him out. It's not that easy to evict people in California, especially the Bay Area. What he can do is raise the rent so high he can't afford it any more...

Law enforcement seemed quite aware of Dan and I don't think he could even have moved in with his father if the criteria for sex offenders weren't met. (1000 feet away from a school and park, etc). I'm sure they'd have told dad no.

The landlord may not have liked the media but unless the lease says no media and you can't let a sex offender son in, I think they will have problem getting him out. Dan's dad may not fight it but if he does, I think he'd win.

Truth is, sex offenders have to live somewhere. Just look at the database-they are everywhere.

I'd feel bad for his dad if he lost his place. A crazy son and no home? It's not exactly an inexpensive part of the world either.

Granted but if you believe Andrew Fitzpatrick and others who got to know Dan, the father was abusive to the kids growing up and was a large part in why the whole family is so fucked up, so hard to feel so bad for him finally feeling some consequences of it in his 60s.

I think Dan has been working at the telemarketing job as that is why he only managed to upload some new videos last Sunday. It seems likely that Dan has been working since Monday 21st and has only had a chance to go to the library on Sunday. Dan has said that the telemarketing company operates Monday to Saturday.

Yes, I get the feeling that a lot of why Dan is who he is falls on his father's gross treatment of women compounded by Dan's obvious mental issues.

Papa Cilley is a womanizer and that story Dan told about how he removed the bedroom door of the daughter of the woman Dan's dad was dating because she didn't put a dish in the dish washer says a lot.

Also, that he just now started questioning Dan being autistic or not because Dan owes him money is batshit.

Stewart Cilley is by all accounts an abusive scumbag, but Dan's owed him that money forever, and Dan's been told he's autistic his whole life. Since most of his siblings have similar issues, autism has to have been discussed endlessly in their family. Dan just pretends he's not autistic but that his issues are because he ate a burger in 2007 or took antibiotics in 2002.
