You guys didn't give us any time to prepare for this! That's not okay! (OOC: My legit grievance with this is; why are we, the canon RPers being held accountable for all the other stuff like the OCs, fangan characters, and self-shipping? That's not fair. But again, it's not like any of us are in a position to do anything. So we can't really do anything about it.)

*sniff...* One last thing I have to say before I leave... I never would've thought that joining this sub would lead to all of my friends showing up, and having so many good times would be here. I never thought I would've met my actual girlfriend, u/NeoAikidoTenko. It's just mind-blowing to reflect on how all this has happened. But much more interesting to me as a cow is that of RebelOfTheNew/DallasTheManipulator, a pseudo intellectual who wrote a 200 page essay about Sayaka, who remember, survived one chapter. It defies all logic.

What I think is more interesting about him, however, is his youtube channel, which among other things, has him explaining his tier list for all of the games in the back of his car. The interesting part about it? It's two videos, that add up to eight hours long. These people are fucking crazy.

I remember the Sayaka guy. I remember I used to post on that subreddit and had some hot takes and that guy tried to get me on his show which didn't appeal to me. Like he seemed to try random people from the subreddit as people for co-hosts on his show.

Speaking of bizarre Danganronpa merchandise, apparently Danganronpa-themed perfumes are a thing.

Perfumes based on the 1st game's characters are on sale, and perfumes based on the 2nd game will be released in May.

I also don't want to imagine what the real nutty AF fans would do with these, most likely in unintended ways.

TL;DR: Reddit user pitches an atrocious plot featuring his gary stu self-insert and the revival of his waifu who is dead in canon, has an overinflated ego (he wants Spike Chunsoft to recognize his shitty game), and throws a screaming tantrum if you dare criticize his waifu or his horrible game plot. He's so obsessed with the character Chiaki that he calls her his girlfriend and bans people for disliking her. Even mentioning that Chiaki is fictional will upset him to comical degrees.
Honestly, it's so reminiscent of earlier internet fandom dramas that it's a refreshing change of pace from the cesspool of modern callout culture.

The point of V3's ending was "Fuck you Spike Chunsoft for enforcing our contractual obligations to make another game before letting me make Akudama Drive, I'll blow up the franchise like a tard to make sure you don't enforce it again", and if you think it's supposed to be genuinely making some profound comment on fandoms for violent media you haven't seen what I just mentioned.

I will literally never understand people who turn to shitty fangames as opposed to games with genuine effort. Probably because they're free? I can name a good amount of very good similar games/series. I know a few people who deluded themselves into finding some fan series canon.

"Sequels are unnecessary and the people wanting to see this continue are horrible." rings really fucking hollow when the team behind the game making that point is the same one responsible for continuing the series and milking it for all it's worth with spin-off titles, mobile games and anime.

The Danganronpa fandom is absolutely, 100% fucking nuts. It's infested with literal children from tumblr, I'm not sure what anyone would expect. We're talking witch-hunted off the internet for liking wrong ships level of crazy, here. The roleplay community is just as bad, maybe even worse. It basically swallowed up every adjacent fandom (AA, YTTD, etc) into it because the community was the most organized, so it's filled with people who fucking hate the series and continue to host roleplays about the series anyways.

I know there was some shit a while back about one of the roleplays that got into community troubles because they had a specific nsfw channel in their discord only for minors, and a few other things like a roleplay based around elementary school kids and stuff. Shit's pretty wack. It's all incredibly insular and clique-y too, so if you piss off the mob? Good luck interacting with literally anyone in the fandom ever again.
