First exposed by Something Awful goon and Let's Player ChipCheezum and his comrade General Ironicus for the burgeoning "Retsupurae" video craze of the late aughts, Danny boy was ridiculed online for a few weeks until he played the Autism card and guilted ChipCheezum into taking down the video (which was fortunately reuploaded by youtube user ZetaRidge7). He really likes sonic, and he admittedly lives in his mother's basement; wasting countless hours writing vapid and bemusing sonic-meets-megaman-meets-whatever-the-fuck fan fictions starring his OC "Danny the Panda". He did a couple let's plays of some shitty sonic games, and has been active for years with almost no encouragement from anyone (which would lead me to believe he has an inflated sense of self-worth). Here are a couple of choice videos from his library of recorded shame.

Big bad Dan talking about some evil hedgehog he made with a final fantasy haircut. Evidence suggests he did battle with this heinous villain some months ago. I can only imagine the terrible fury of the mighty savior of Mobius known as "Danny the panda" as the battle raged.

Why do these people feel the need to create such edgy OCs? Sonic OCs no less.

He reacts to criticism with a disproportionate amount of feedback--which mainly consists of him vocalizing how mean his detractors are in a very diffident, delicate way. But he does show an odd amount of real anger toward fictional characters that have never crossed him (and talks about wishing he could mutilate them in various ways), so I'm sure he can be turned into quite a spectacle with the right amount of provocation.

Dude, this fucker's still going the last video he posted was posted 4 days ago, he seems to make like 5-6 videos a month.

Let me tell you all, this is one of the most convoluted Sonic OCs I have ever seen in my life, and believe me, I have been asked/payed/held at gunpoint to draw a few in my time.
Anyway here's the sketch

I had to simplify the design to the extreme to get it to fix on reasonable cartoon character and not look like a fucking eyesore

"Danny the Panda" is Danny the Manchild's self insert Sonic OC; so yes, he is the end-all be-all good incarnate Christ figure of Danny's twisted world. Depending on what meticulously, psychotically assembled timeline you're observing, Panda Danny may or may not be the Monarch of "Albion" the setting of the Fable series of video games which Danny shamelessly ripped off.

I think there should be some more retsupurae target threads, there's some real sperg let's players out there, only other sort of retsupurae related lolcow is DSP. Semi-related, Lowtax and Shmorky did a let's play of a shitty FPS creator game called Caves of Hell on his gaming garbage channel and the creator, Yoshandue who is a Yoshi diaper fetishist, chimped out in the comments, saying he worked really hard on it (it took him like a week of part time work to "make" aka drag and drop items from a program) and just taking no responsibility for what he made. He also chimps out on the site he uploaded the game to, Game Jolt. He then deleted all his comments and now does terrible let's plays on a new channel.
