If I'm talking too loud in an accent a schizo has never heard because retards don't make an income and have never been to Australia before, that's not intentionally provoking them.
If people can't handle the volume and sound of my voice to the point where they take a swing on me, they should be locked up in a place for dangerous retards and force fed medication because I shouldn't have the responsibility of taking them to the ground until their nurse comes to give them a shot to make them less retarded.
Schizophrenics are a dangerous burden to society and they need to be sterilized so we can get rid of them in a generation or two.

Yeah he would go to some kind of state hospital that they send the dangerous crazies too because that's where you go when you're unfit to stand trial.
Those are the type of places where they have basically a permanent committal over you and the doctors can make the decisions on your treatment.
 
Daniel has been banned from all adult wirh disabilities services and group homes in Colorado, its why he was homeless. The only thing left is one of the two state run mental hospitals and those are poorly funded and have a low amount of beds.

The federal government would be doing daniel a favor if they gave him alot of years as he was pretty close to deaths door living on the streets before he went to prison.

Hes living his best life right now, 3 meals a day he doesn't have to dine and dash for, shelter which he never really had that much of on the streets because he would loose his state id all the time for hotels and bob wouldn't always give him money for a room. Clean clothes, he would sometimes wear the same clothes for months and his shoes where falling apart and had tons of foot problems. And free medical care which he needs with his many problems. no insane trolls to bother him. And most important a regular routine which most retards thrive with.

it's been said before, and you highlight it perfectly here. almost every majorly mentally handicapped lolcow we document on the site would genuinely be better off in prison in a low security facility just... hangin' around, doing whatever it is retards do, maybe stamping license plates or testing cosmetics or something. i don't know what they make prisoners do these days.

they need rigid structure, unyielding strictness, and constant vigilance, which is EXACTLY what prison, and state mental institutions when they're not jam-packed already, give. daniel and people like him are not safe for even themselves when set free, because they are incapable of comprehending consequences and when they are behaving abnormally, and it's so frustrating when someone like andy ditch or daniel isn't able to be arrested, found to be medically retarded or a problem for society, and condemned to an institution simply because we do not have the facilities for it.

if they had been able to throw ditch into a psyche ward the moment he started his stupid shit, his mother MIGHT still be alive. his parents and family would have been considerably less terrorized. same for dan, he would have been better off being institutionalized when he first started making trouble for people because he's CLEARLY incapable of being on his own, even as a grown adult. he's a feral child, essentially. not quite but i hope that makes sense.

Not quite. It means being able to competently answer questions such as 'What does the judge do? What is the prosecution's job? What is the jury there for? What is your attorney supposed to do? Can you tell me what you're charged with? Do you know why you're charged with X?'
I've seen judges running through these questions in court footage even after competency has been found. In one of the cases, the Judge wasn't happy with the answers from the defendant and refused to accept the finding of competency.
Daniel is unlikely to get a Chris Chan get out of jail free card because these are Federal charges and his previous behaviour is well documented by social services, police and EMS. Chris had far fewer 'official' interactions and was only documented by autists on the Internet.
 
Instead of sentencing Daniel, he should be able to LIVE at the whitehouse with Trump. Imagine the sitcom goldmine we’d have from it.

Both him and Eric can slap fight each other over the prize at the bottom of a cereal box. Really, the possibilities would be endless.

Feds have UNICOR that makes all kinds of shit. Everything from govt desks to military plate carriers. I don’t think I’d trust Larson to make any of those things. I definitely wouldn’t want him in the kitchen if I was unfortunate enough to live in the same prison as him. Maybe give him a job pushing a broom and see if he can earn his way to a floor buffer.
 
State nuthouses are usually short on beds so I'm betting there will be another homeless arc. Possibly with a little greyhound therapy where chronic psych patients are put on busses to become someone else's problem.

What do you want to have happen? If he's not found competent to stand trial he'll be stuck for the rest of his life in the limbo of the bureau of prisons without due process, Do people think this finding has anything to do with whether Larson was of mind when he committed the threats? It's not it's whether he's competent enough to understand what's going on during the trial now that someone has finally forced him to take his meds. being found incompetent doesn't mean you get to go free, you are stuck in bop psychiatric care until you're well enough to go to trial.

The public defender had the right strategy - insist he was too crazy and not competent to stand trial to reinforce the atmospherics that's he's too crazy to be guilty, and in the meantime negotiate a plea bargain with the AUSA. that avoids jail and sends him to a mental health care facility. Larson was pushing to be found competent bc he wants to go to trial bc he is an overconfident retard, but not bc he's crazy and can't make sense of the trial. He's also too arrogant and vain to concede he's way less crazy now that he's medicated so will be a terrible witness. The court system generally lets dunning krueger fools like those go to trial if they want to. Which may not be the best outcome for him but if our right to a jury trial means anything it means we need to honor it even when the system is telling us not to for our own good.

The rate of conviction on a federal case is extremely high. I think it's like <90% last time I checked. what will happen is the defense for Larson is going to plead insanity that's there only real chance of getting him off with a lighter sentence from the judge or they will take a plea deal. It would be funny if he got time served but I seriously doubt that on the fact Daniel has been determined to be a threat to himself and others. I wonder what kind of cocktail of meds they got him on to function at least somewhat normally?
Best case scenario he's going to get thrown into an institution for the rest of his life and will live out his days with food and not having to worry about where he's getting his next meal from and what fake celebrity is texting him. Worst case is he gets some time served and is given like a year in some low security prison where he will be let out and thrown to the wolves.

He'll be found innocent or guilty with time served. Obviously this wasn't a credible threat and even if he's been found to be not completely incapacitated, it will not be difficult to demonstrate that he is out of his mind and that there is no intent behind his actions.

I hope that the legal system has a better plan than just tossing him back on the streets to become a public nuisance, again.
 
You know the more I think about it the more I am shocked Daniel didn't get himself shot one of the times he attacked or flipped out at a convivences store or gas station, all the employees at the ones I know are armed and he sure threatened them and even attacked them enough, even breaking windows with rocks. Most people who do that end up shot.
 
The federal court doesn’t have the option of sending him to a mental institution unless he changes his plea to not guilty by way of insanity. The state of Colorado would have to iniate civil commitment proceedings in the circuit court in order for that to happen

Yes. There are state mental hospitals that house violent and criminally insane types.

They're under lockdown just like prison.
