From what I've gathered, we could have gotten live feed of Daniel's court appearance today, as it was supposed to be livestreamed, however it was shut down rather quickly after weens started shitting up the chat.

They're nothing alike. Terry was a very smart and perceptive man laid low by mental illness, who in the end was unable to fight off his demons. He wasn't significantly manipulated by his following who by and large supported him, be it ironically or unironically. Daniel is a lifelong retard with numerous congenital health problems who is beyond hope and has a following of absolute sociopaths who are manipulating him towards catastrophe. The right amount of mental health support could have made Terry Davis a productive member of society, no intervention will make Dan into a mental adult or not a paedophile.

Punishment won't work. He doesn't understand why it's wrong because he has the mind of, in my estimation, a 5 or 6 year old child. He does need to be sectioned though, I agree with that. He cannot be reformed and thus needs to be kept away from people who he could harm or who could harm him. Think of the way 6-year-olds act towards their peers, now add in the fact he has a functional adult sex drive and looks like and adult and nobody is wrangling him the way you would a 6-year-old, so society (and Dan) see adults as his peers, but he behaves towards them the way a 6-year-old would. This includes violent tantrums when he doesn't get his way, which is amusing when a toddler does it but a serious threat to public safety when a 25-year-old man does it.

This is exactly what 6-year-olds do. They are just mentally developed enough to understand the concepts of lying and manipulation but not developed enough to be very good at it, or to understand the consequences of doing it or why it's wrong. 6-year-olds don't really grasp the difference between reality and fiction. If you told a 6-year-old that they were a famous singer, they'd believe you. Of course he's going to gravitate towards people who reinforce those beliefs, his entire self-image is composed of these fantasies now.

The one major difference between Dan and a 6-year-old (apart from Dan possessing an adult body and sex drive) is that a 6-year-old's brain is still developing, and they will learn. They will learn right from wrong, they will learn how to act around other people, they will learn to distinguish fantasy from reality. Dan won't. He's stuck as a 6-year-old forever. He won't learn from punishment. He won't learn from being reasoned with. He won't learn anything at all, ever. That's why we put retards like him in homes, because they are hopeless cases who just need to be looked after to keep them and others safe. Dan needs to be locked up, not as punishment, but for his own good and that of society.

To say Daniel just doesn't take meds he is surprisingly cogent. I don't think he has schizophrenia proper, just a raft of issues that make him schizo. But I think he was always going to have issues, being born microcephalic (I'm not sure what his mother did during pregnancy or the quality of her character beyond random internet rumours).

I don't think he's schizophrenic either. Schizotypal, maybe, but that's a personality disorder, not a mental illness like schizophrenia and it doesn't respond well to medication, so if he's not taking his meds that's why he's as functional as he is. He's prone to fantasy and delusion, but you don't have to be schizophrenic to have those, and whilst he's paranoid, you have to bear in mind that he really is being gangstalked and people really are plotting against him behind his back. Like Fox Mulder once said, "Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they aren't out to get you". He's never mentioned hearing voices or seeing visions. Ironically, he also speaks far too lucidly to be an unmedicated schizophrenic. What he says is often delusional, but it's comprehensible.

Schizophrenics are unmistakeable. Terry Davis, John Bulla, Alex Knapik-Levert, that guy I can't remember right now who thinks aliens talk to his teeth and thinks he's the rightful King of America. You'd be surprised at the age of some of the trolls. Murk and Jasper(Jix) were 13 or 14 at the time, they're the group who led to Dan losing shield housing as well as blowing up and hitting Bob in the car that one time.

More recent trolls have been older. Goated Mines (Dog stealer) and JohnJam (Guy who stole WorldOfTshirt's hat, and chased Dan around a mall) are both early college age (John Jam was 19? I think, Goated Mines early 20s and in a PhD program iirc. Flexburger is late teens, not sure on an exact age. I could find it but someone would have to care.

One thing I've noticed about most Dan weens/glass tappers is the vast majority of them are very opportunistic. Goated Mines was a nobody in the community until the dog thing happened, I think he saw his chance to pull some strings and took it. JohnJam was the same but I believe he worked mostly alone. Surprisingly, the younger ones (Murk and Jix) were the only ones I knew of that took quite a bit of time to work on manipulating Dan into trusting them. (They were many "record labels" that held control over Dan).
