We were all doing our best to post in it, but we just didn't have the talent or the application to produce a thread that meets @Chongqing's standards. It's a collective failure, really. Once the dust has settled we need to all sit down and perform a post-mortem, look at some of our posts and see whether we could have improved them. We could all become better posters in the future, it's a harsh lesson but one we can all use as a growth opportunity. I check this thread every 10 days or so to see if there's anything that would prompt me to laugh. It's always a disappointment.

The reason why this thread isn't "up to my standards," specifically, is because it lacks joy. It's the same gripe Null had two years ago with other threads. "I am begging you all to stop being such joyless fucks."
