Fun fact, the state of Colorado defines:

I'm guessing it's the airport thing too. Airports don't fuck around when it comes to security and they really don't want people causing a scene. Airports attract bums, because they're big, warm, open 24/7, full of people carrying cash and buying food, and someone with a suitcase having a nap on a bench isn't going to attract as much attention as it would elsewhere because it could well be a legit passenger. So their security has to be on the alert for panhandlers and pickpockets and show no tolerance. If you show up again at an airport after being trespassed, they're going to throw the book at you and I suspect that's what's happened to Dan. The "Intent to commit a crime" thing probably relates to dine-and-dashing, word has got around about Dan and they don't want him stealing from the food court. Given his record, I'd say it was reasonable to assume that Dan is very likely to dine-and-dash at any eatery he enters, more than enough for the airport cops to hit him with the bigger charge.

That's crazy he was just in jail for warrants and now he's back in court.

I guess what surprises me is how different the legal system is in Denver than where I am. If you end up in jail when you are already on probation here, you're probably gonna do the rest of your probation in jail. What they do to homeless ppl here is give them a tiny $100-$300 bond or do 30-90 days, and most of the homeless ppl don't have $100 so they do the time. For nonviolent criminals, you're only gonna do 15-45 days out of a 30-90 day sentence.

Since we no longer have mental asylums to put these skitzos into, jails are going to end up picking up the weight.

I just saw an article in the local news about the jail requesting 500 million to build another expansion on the jail, they just built a 4-story tower back around 2010 and they claim due to COVID policy changes the jail is overcrowded.

What's different about Dan and Cobes is that we are seeing, for many people for the first time, the process by which people go from safe, housed, loved and secure to crazy/alcoholic hobos on the street. Cobes isn't homeless yet, but he's going through the process.

I think you are right on this being the first time some of the orbiters have watched a cow go from a safe and normal life to being homeless and it doesn't take much to end up homeless. I also think these cows are the closest a lot of people have ever seen a homeless person's life, all it takes is some bad luck and unless you have family you can easily end up on the streets and it is a lot harder to get off the streets then it is maintain a safe/normal home.

I would say it's a toss-up between his weens getting locked up and him going to lockdown cuz he hits himself. The last thing you want to do in jail is get put in a self-harm cell.
