He seemed a lot more relaxed in jail, he was still looking over his shoulder (as anyone would do in jail) but the second he was released his eyes are darting all around and crazy looking, as is usual for him in the outside world. Less people fucked with him in jail than in the outside world.

I find the whole Youtube sphere around Larson and generally other lolcows kind of troubling. There's clear, underlying levels of masochism and psychopathy at play. And it's all done around this thin justification that it's all altruistic and done out of care to keep everyone informed and aware of certain individuals.

But there's obvious entertainment and even delight shown from the channels I've seen. A lot of them cling to the defense: "Well I just hate pedophiles". And you know what? I think they do. Who wouldn't? But I also think it's easy to go after bad, unwell people who naturally wouldn't get sympathy from anybody and unleash their own brand of cruelty onto what they believe is someone who "deserves it". [For the most part they do deserve it]

Guy like Larson is perfect for this kind of shit. Homeless, insane, pedophilic, et cetera.

It's a realization I have slowly come to since last year seeing weens and alogs become more sadistic around cows. That and what's currently going on with revived interest in Chris Chan's past trolls. Back then these cases were few and the Internet seemed a little more lighthearted. But something about now feels angry. and I'm no psychologist so I can't really pin a point where this behavior escalated. But it was never this extreme before. Maybe I'm softer in my older age. Maybe it's all wearing me down. But something feels deeply unsettling about the people fueling these cows more than the cows themselves.
