The way Daniel has treated Bob the literal only person in his life that cares about him really shows how big a piece of shit he is. He did nothing but try and help Daniel to the point of enabling him because he cares about him and Daniel did nothing but blame everything on him including his own arrest.

@ColombianGhost ok I remember a little more about the back and forth tard sodomy- it was NOT Jonas being interviewed. It was a white guy who owned the house that sponsored the tards. The stuff I remember him saying besides that was that he would get up every morning and run like 4 miles and never shower. And he went into how Daniel fucked up the walls and fixtures.

I still have my doubts but, this fits more with the behavior daniel normally has during his housing eras, there is confiussion in general about how many group homes he has been kicked off, i have count 3 but there may be more

I count 3 but there could be some I don't know about. But on that interview it's pretty obvious Daniel knocks holes in the walls, and it wouldn't be hard to find out he stinks to hell. If it's the interview I'm thinking of the cat part was kinda sus. But whatever, I just wonder if people were honest and told Daniel his music sucked cocks would he have gotten to the insane point he got to. I think if Daniel had been raised by capable, patient parents he could have had appropriate standards of behaviour drilled into him, but of course he wasn't, going from neglectful parents to over-protective grandmother to various institutions who couldn't handle him to an idiotic enabler like Bob. The problem is that his mind will forever be 6, but when his body is 18 he not only gets most of his support withdrawn, but gains a load of rights and freedoms that he never had the maturity to use responsibly. So even if he had been raised properly, once he's an adult he can start to ignore/forget everything he was taught and there's nothing anyone can do to stop him until he breaks the law in a significant way, as we have seen.

It's one of the big problems related to social care in my country, and by the looks of things in the US as well. We have a legal and social structure that says that once you're 18 you're suddenly an adult and get all these rights and responsibilities, but if you're a retard with a child's mind you're just as retarded and incapable as you were when you were 17, in fact you are just as retarded and incapable as you are when you were 6. But you got squirted into the world 18 solar revolutions ago, hit the streets, good luck champ!

We fuck up retards really badly with this system. We dote on disabled kids, because kids are cute. Disabled adults aren't cute, even though they're just as helpless. But they get jack shit. It's a massive shock to them and many do not recover. You're suddenly 18, and 90% of your support is withdrawn overnight. No more fingerpainting, no more musical therapy, no more friendly, well-staffed special schools with bright colours and daily happiness affirmations. You're suddenly stuffed into some roach-infested halfway house with a support worker you might see once a fortnight, the news doesn't want to make feel-good stories about you any more because you're no longer deemed appealing, just you and the adult world that you're in no way equipped to handle. This comes as a massive shock to non-retarded kids who are in state care for whatever reason and are mentally 18, many do not survive the shock and end up as addicts and convicts. Now try dealing with this when you're mentally 7. Of course it fucking breaks you, and that's without a band of Broccoli-Haired Clout Gibbons telling you that you're famous and that some celebrity you have a crush on feels the same way about you. Dan never stood a chance.

I really think if he had capable parents who raised him properly where bad behavior didn't get rewarded he would still be better off as a adult. The way he manipulates people is just learned behavior from childhood when his grandma would bribe him to be good. That sets a pattern for him for life, if I'm bad I can get what I want which is the worst way to go through life and always ends up just where he did sitting in jail waiting on up to 60+ years. Now his violent behavior i donnu if anything could be done about that. Its obvious he is a very violent person, he doesn't know how to express himself properly so he lashes out with violence, look at every place he's ever stayed holes punched into every wall, broken TVs, those ugly headphones he broke. Hell he beats the hell outta himself harder then I think I could willingly punch myself. I doubt most of us could sit there and punch ourselves bloodily like he has done multiple times. Now do I think the current system is fucked, yea we were better off in the 1800s throwing these fuckers in crazy wards for life. Sure it's not a popular policy nowadays but he would have been better off forced to take his meds and live in a padded room.

I'm thinking back to when he was at ihop, where he was told that he could leave (without paying) and daniel insisted that he'd stay until the cops arrived.

also shoutouts to the police officers who were patient enough to deal with daniel's bullshit, they deserve a raise

I don't think so, hw was pretty confrontational with the cop during the hospital incident, i think is just he knows that by playing nice when the cops show, maybe he has been doing the same with other authority figures since a young age
