She handed the posting over first and did publicly say it was because she was getting busier with work. But she sincerely had had enough of the drama of the forums and also didn't want her name tied to the site anymore while working in the land of sane people.

It's always sad that people can't manage their finances and have to sell their belongings as soon as anything unexpected comes up. It's pretty common in the hobby though.
And for people who are not in the hobby, most of this shit is damn overpriced.

Knowing her, she's probably moving because she is being kicked out of her boyfriend's mother's house.

She jacks up prices on everything she has ever sold. Also, those are basically her tossed aside dolls and stuff. She has quite a hoard of bjd. But we'll see if she will have to start in on her real collection.

Her cousin is my best friend, so I'll probably have some tasty bits soon.

Most likely. She's incredibly selfish, and has no concept of what it's like to PAY RENT or actually be responsible.

Neither her or her boyfriend have ever had to pay for anything, and now they're shocked that they have to pay money to move into an apartment. Deposit, first and last month's rent seems to be unheard of to her, and she thinks she's an exception.

Danya threw a fit the last time I was up, visiting her cousin, and was demanding that she pay only rent for her room. Yet she still wanted to have access to the rest of the house, internet and utilities. This was a rental property my best friend's parents owned.

She and her boyfriend could have afforded the rent for the whole house. But of course, neither of them wanted to and so Danya moved in with her boyfriend. So she wouldn't have to pay rent.

She was given the chance to ease into being on her own, for a good few years. She knew that one day she'd have to pay rent. Instead of preparing and saving, she spent money on her dolls, going out, and of course, causing drama if she didn't get her way.

So yeah. I'm not surprised at all.

I've belonged to some knitting forums and groups, and yes, those places can go batshit INSANE.
They also have easy access to many sharp tools.

She's just playing dumb and making it sound like only this one incident is the reason. Plus, if she really wanted people to see an announcement.... We'd ALL see it and could comment on it. She only wants people on her side to see her pov, and only her pov.

I can confirm the breakup, btw. And I have a little bit of info.

Her boyfriend received an opportunity to teach in Japan. He chose the job over her. Good boy.

Danya also lost her well paying job for no call no shows, or constantly calling in. She was getting about 20 bucks an hour, and it wasn't difficult. She was seen selling her manga at a bookstore my friend frequents. So things are getting pretty deep now.

Her mom now lives in SoCal, so I dunno if Danya will go to her. We'll see.

Yup. I'm not at all surprised though. She calls out a lot when there's conventions, or wants to take mini vacations. Of course, I guess she got caught thus time lol
Maybe her Echo coterie will come to the rescue. Maybe I should move into the house she had been in. Just to be an ass.
