I like Tevin, I like SoK, and ardnas/Snort burnell's stuff. Each has a different style that fits a different situation. Each has room for improvement or has acted obnoxiously in one way or another. They're all human.

The argument over monetization is stupid, we're years past the point where people hated on Phil simply because he made money off of other people's work. Practically every detractor product I've seen so far has had more effort put into it than Phil's own stuff. Make money legitimately, or don't and take pride in living up to a higher standard.

Some of the community here are not perfect just like the SoK, tevin, etc. You know whats cringier than people who spend all their time mocking phil? People who spend all their time mocking people for spending all their time mocking phil. I said it before, how many here would otherwise be in a lab curing cancer? Being a Phil detractor is just another often pointless hobby like wasting your time watching sports or playing video games no more no less. Too many people on here come with a chip on their shoulder trying to prove how much 'cooler' they are not just against the lolcows but other detractors and other posters and will leap down other peoples throats for nonissues. Newsflash, you're spending all your time on a thread dedicated to a manchild. You're not fooling anyone.

Time to make 300 6 hour videos about this, make rules for the community you must abide by, subtweet you and get followers to stalk you for criticizing me , tell everyone you turned your back on this community for breaking my rules and pretend I'm great for making fun of one of the easiests target online ! I'm not the one making a rulebook and sperging out when someone breaks my imaginary rules
I'm not the one causing most of the infighting
I'm not the one that made a hugbox group that can't handle different opinions
I'm not the one subtweeting,crying and holding people that suck up to me to different standards from the ones I made up
I'm not the one that makes videos about members of the community

I think you should take your criticism of people in the anti DSP community to them too. I laugh at DSP and the anti DSP community I see similarities. Hugbox mentality, high opinion of themselves over the dumbest things and lack of self awareness

I'm not holding SoK blameless. They push the dumb antimonetization 'rule' on everybody and can be elitist in a way that drives other people out, even though they get some blame that is not their fault.

Just some people even in kiwi make some unfair criticisms. Like JUST because they make very long vids they suck. Or somebody who spends just as much time on here as you says JUST because you spend alot of time commenting about phil instead of in some hypothetical better life goal you're a loser. Overall all sides should just chillax a bit.

Dedicating YouTube and Twitter accounts to one person is more obsessive than posting on a forum IMO. I can't speak for everyone on here I personally don't see anyone playing moralfag in this thread so far The only people see I going around saying they are better than someone is the anti DSP community.


They constantly screech about how they are better than some lulcow YouTuber while acting like him. SOK constantly fights with other people in the community over imaginary rules I know they are ones with unwarranted self importance.Their community is a goldmine for cringe and I love it! We accomplished something on this thread their community is incapable of doing right now ..having a civil conversation

Tevin strikes me as the kind of person who has absolutely no friends in real life, because he's such a boring sperg. SOK on the other hand seem to have friends, but only in other SOK members, and that has to be even more embarrassing than having nobody.
Either way its pretty clear that none of the vocal phil detractors have anything exciting going on in their lives. You can get everything you need to laugh at phil from reading his tweets. He has never said anything complex enough that needed a 6 hour podcast dissecting it.

One thing I've learned in life is people come to a person for what they offer and don't give a shit about them or other aspects of their being. That's human nature and that's ok.

The issue is when said subject starts to feel like it's important for them to say their opinions on unrelated things or that their opinions outside of their area of notoriety are important at all.
