I just find it fascinating how that group takes themselves so seriously with their hierarchy and pseudo-official methods of banishing members. This is a clan bordering on a cult that spends all its time talking about Phil, and they demand to be treated as though they're some benevolent voice amongst the heathen swine.
I know all about the charity water, but a good act does not wash out the bad nor a bad act the good.
At this point, the SoK aren't even trolls. All they do is react to what Phil does and says...and oftentimes doing nothing other than pontificate as if Phil is listening to their screeching advice. I enjoy following the outliers, the independent trolls who screw with Phil but don't join the establishment SoK community.

I've heard it characterized that the SoK act as though they are Phil's Fairy Godmother, and that's pretty damn accurate. Phil has got the mind of a child...if one wants to get him to do something, beg him to do exactly the opposite, listen to him bitch about that suggestion, and behold as he does what he feels is the obstinate task but it's really been the plan all along.
I guess reverse-psychology is no longer taught in post-graduate poli sci courses.

Honestly, you have to kind of take them on their word given that they have no real evidence beyond saying it's going to St. Jude's. They also tend to doubletalk people when they do podcasts, with the worst offenders being the fellas behind Laveria or who were ex-Laveria. Shit on them off camera, act polite like they didn't do that when they're on. It's why I'm suspicious of them doing this for charity.

Holy shit, I'm so happy you found this guy for me! I forgot what this idiot's twitter handle was, but this isn't the first time he has sperged out at something stupid. Maybe a year ago, there was someone on twitter who was basically doing what drgnkiller does, except they were quoting Zach's tweet, just to fuck with him. He fucking lost it and iirc, he did nothing but baawww for days about his apparent cyber stalker and how what he's doing is abusive. He has also tweeted Youtube directly to take down videos of people saying he's a moron. I've also seen tweets where he gets angry at people who use certain memes.

Zach is really fucking exceptional, and he warrants a thread of his very own. So happy to see he hasn't changed since the last time I read some of his tweets.

Part of what irks me about them is how they over-react to simple things and pixel fuck Phil's videos making some things out of nothing. Like in their "let's endure" series in one of Phil's cooking videos he made an omelette and he couldn't flip is correctly so he kind of made it into a burrito like shape (it really wasnt anything special let along horrible). They droned on and on about it and whooped about it like it was some big deal. They were out of material and had to make everything he does some huge issue. Now I dislike Phil as much as others do but they go a bit far sometimes when they act like he committed murder by not flipping an egg over properly. I find a lot of the time they do this and it can be pretty cringe-worthy.
Some other person not directly in SoK does Pandalee marathons where he watches like 5 hours worth of her videos and sits there and comments on them, he has done this like 3 times over by now.. it's a bit obsessive at this point.

Tevin. That's someone I'll defend. These days he only does DSP videos when something he thinks is interesting happens, and he's far more likely to give DSP props when he actually does something right.

Plus I like his voice.

I think the pandalee endures happened back when he was drinking a lot. They are pretty terrible, though.

Edit: and as I recall, the panda vlog endures weren't something he wanted to do, it was part of a bet or a 24 hour charity stream or something his fans asked him to do in some fashion. He spent the entire time grumbling about how much he hated it.
