Idk if this is the right thread for this but I was listening to the old MATI ep where null talked about Dave vs Comcast, and I got frustrated by Josh's ice cold takes. I felt extremely petty so I made this quick video cutting together clips from the same stream. This really shouldn't get to me so much but it's annoying because I feel like Josh is a pretty fair guy for the most part, and I've been a fan since his stream.me days and his collab with SPCC.
But GOD DAMN he is so fucking gay when it comes to this topic. All my point is, I think it's really disingenuous to group an entire forum together with the actions of literally like a couple people... over YEARS. I only speak for myself but I don't want Dave off the Internet, I find him and his weird band of retards infinitely fascinating. And he's pretty fun to hate, because he fucking SUCKS. Josh doesn't change opinions though and he ignores reasonable posts and cherry picks retards so it doesn't matter lol

Null doesn't know shit about DSP and since the DSP sub-forum is 61% of what CWC's is, that DSP gets 61% the shitstorm CWC gets.
In reality streamers like Jordie get 100x worse shit happening to them by retards.
Most of the people watching DSP do harmless shit like the comcast saga, or the bank leaks, to which DSP grabs on and rides them for months to milk his retards for money.
There might be a slight chance of DSP calling Null and giving him a pre-stream podcast about how his life is worse than the multiple swats against wings, the multiple hookers sent to wings' house, and that's how Null has the pignosis and DSP gets it worse than anybody else.
Don't forget also that the sites/forums DSP used to run to shit on people, or the shits he threw towards others for over a decade, that those are from old DSP and not warranted in this time and age, since DSP changed.
His life is hard and Null knows about it.

Not shocking at all. Null doesn't know the long, dare I say interesting and convoluted, history of DSP. Null admitted he knows very little about DSP and followed when the escort saga began on the KiwiFarms and then again during the bankruptcy. Even then, when Null appeared on Rekeita's show back when DSP was going through his bankruptcy, the chat kept calling Null out because he kept screwing up DSP's lore and his reading of his situation almost read as an apologist.
Null's position, when asked, has always been "Why do people hate this dude DSP? He's just a fat retard who plays video games and plays mobile gacha," yet, while that's true, that's only 10% of DSP. I would hazard a guess Null doesn't know half the lore DSP has been involved with since 2008:

Bullying a guy who built a PC for him
The Project 7 debacle
The Patreon scams
Taking advantage of literal mentally retarded people
Lying about his discord connections to his WWE Champions
Claiming his depression caused him to be mean to other content creators when State of Decay 2 came out

Blaming TIHYDP for people Swatting him
The revisionist history of him playing a "character"

And still, this is like 10% of DSP's long history of autism.
I'm not saying you have to "hate" Phil, or watch every second of his life to understand the dislike of this particular lolcow, but when you screw up the most basic lore and even get things that are factually wrong, then you don't have a good grasp on the entire history of DSP. It would be like someone saying "Why do people follow Chris Chan? All he did was pepper spray a GameStop employee, he's autistic, and he likes Sonic." I've been following Phil since 2014–2015, maybe late 2013, so my historical autism kicks in whenever someone screws up his lore because I know way, way, WAY too much about this dude. I've been reading the drama surrounding DSP for almost ten years when I first learned about him. I don't blame him either, like Chris Chan, DSP has literal years and years of his life documented and there is so much shit to sit through if you want to understand.
The only thing I will say is, much like WingsOfRedemption, DSP does attract the most insane and retarded trolls/detractors. As an observer, this is part of what makes DSP such a fascinating spectacle because once in a blue moon, some retard will fuck with Phil IRL and cause another saga, which provides more content for us to laugh at, including the retard who did it.

This is basically where Null and most here come to an impasse. He has no problem making a living for doing dumb shit online and taking advantage of fools willing to throw away their money for nothing. His goal with Chris was to guide him into selling drawings and garbage to maintain a living.
He also has a soft spot with Wings, who is similar to Dave in that other than being an e-beggar, they're just stupid lazy assholes that really aren't hurting anyone.
As time goes on, I agree more with that mindset.
When I first followed Phil, my usual reaction was "Why is this boring snorting asshole who sucks at games getting $100s per stream?!" which partly comes from a place of envy. We all want money for doing nothing.
Then you see the Rob Warrens and Jayde Rasmussens giving Phil money, and you rightfully get angry.
But, eventually, you can only laugh at it all. In the end, it's not our place to judge others for burning money, and it's not our place to stop Phil from being able to do this.
Sit back and enjoy the ridiculousness that Phil Burnell and his stupid content.

I would agree with Null that faggots do give DSP too much attention and needlessly document every one of his retarded words in the same way CNN shat themselves whenever Trump took a breath in 2016. It's a pretty fair comparison for how absurd it is to dedicate that much free time to the pig roach by helping to keep his scam going by giving him view traffic and potential donators. However... It isn't totally without some merit. As listed above: Philip has done more than enough to warrant the skepticism against him. I blame the retards around DSP for making it impossible for newfags to really understand the situation around him and why is he a cultcow. I can't fault Null for taking one look at Phil's thread and seeing a room full of screaming retarded apes. And how on Youtube you have faggots like Doody and others wasting every hour given in a seven day period to post the most nothing burger, barrel scraping sludge content. And it never ends or breathes for a minute. It is fucking overflowing data garbage and endless life ruination games over it.

There's nothing worse than seeing people kept afloat by charity wasting their money. I have no idea where people get the idea you can just give people cash and they'll magically stop being poor, but it really screws up everything in every way possible.
The guy behind my favorite podcast regularly exhorts people not to contribute if they can't afford it, but it's not like he can check their credit score before accepting a donation. I just wish the money could be better spent on people who actually can take care of themselves.
