I start out with a methodology such as thus: I pretty much disbelieve everything anyone says about their personal life on the internet until they build up some credibility/continuity over time. While the bank leaks were funny, they were not necessary because Burnell contradicts himself constantly, sometimes in back to back sentences; when his chat calls him out, he lashes out like a child which makes him look even less credible.

DSP likes to frame it like "Phil Derangement Syndrome," but at least for me, it's not; it's how I approach anyone who shares their personal life on the internet. He is just especially egregious in completely shattering any continuity or consistency (and it's to a comedic extent). Someone who actually had built up credibility and starts spinning yarns and falls from grace, then that MAYBE deserves a 10 hour debunk video - not DSP, who had no credibility to begin with. That's my two superberries on the issue, anyway.

They then asked a lot of things about why anyone watches or gives him money. And to that I had no answer cause I knew their ears would melt.

For an hour I drip-fed them DSP trivia until they started to get the shape of it. Kept it REALLY simple. Bad at games, bad with money, has a following, is overanalyzed.
So we watched more Steve and almost got them to fifteen minutes before they needed another break. By the way I shouldn't have to point it out but it is really bad if normal viewers need to take physical breaks from a video. Continuing. They asked more about Steve. Why he was talking about this guy's back? How did he record this without his computer bricking? Is he writing on his basement walls? Is he okay? Things like that. All unbiased. Didn't tell them anything about Doody or Snort cause I didn't want to influence their thoughts.

After a while I could not get them to watch anymore of this video. I finally asked what they thought and the answers were shocking:

"I think it's weird."
"I don't get it."
"It all sounds dumb."
"I feel tired."

That's the most expected reaction.

We're talking about a 10 hour video on some nobody's life, on a specific part of it that no one should care about, his back injury, and you're showing it to randos.

It's like me trying to show you a podcast about a failed, eastern European Kardashian copycat talking about her fake butt implants, not so interesting, is it?

I assume this is an outlet for Steve to express himself and go all out on something he's confident about, while with Internet/IRL friends. Instead of playing LOL or something, he's doing this, so not so bad if he enjoys it.
 
I think ALT and Snood together are actually pretty good but when you add Indrid to that mix it always devolves into 3 desperate nerds hornyposting.

There's a weird super alt-right cringelord group of detractors that you really have to ignore unless they're talking about Phil. Ludwig & Hate Army are definitely in that bucket. Suburban white dudes that had their mom drive them to the larping right wing rally. darksyedflow is in that too.

It does make me laugh because they do make content off of Phil being a retard, while simultaneously being a retard themselves.

lol I was shocked to learn about v-tuber Ludwig being conservative. Very funny.

Oh and Doody, too, right? Though everything about him including his detractor content is bad. Ludwig is actually a great detractor.
 
Ludwig's gay voice is insufferable so I can't watch any of his detractor content. I do remember him having very embarrassing defenses for the homoerotic hazing that Perry Caravello's audience puts him through, specifically the 1993 story or whatever. He's argued in the Perry thread on KF that the weird gay rape story isn't really weird gay rape (note: it is weird gay rape) and that Perry secretly enjoys reciting the weird gay rape story so it's all cool to taunt him his whole life with the weird gay rape story.

A lispy fag who enjoys hearing a straight guy repeatedly talk about the time he got gay raped in the '90s is pretty fucking weird, to put it lightly.

I'm like fine with any side of the political spectrum - as long as you keep that to your private life ffs

But nooo... keep on posting, liking, retweeting and making outside opinions about something political on your channel - that will just turn off a good chunk of the people

It's dumb and unnecessary, inside the vortex, where the sole focus should be... you know... Phil?

No, jokes aside, I'm being serious. It popped in my brain the other day. I remembered both Atlus and Snood mention it in the past at least once, and the chatters were specifically mentioning buying Indrid worn socks. Not sure if it was a joke. Does anybody else remember such an occurence?

I'm probably not going to look it up because I don't even watch these people to begin with, but for whoever that may try to help you, it's probably better if you give more details if you recall, as in: which channel was this on, or in what timeframe did this happen (the stream was broadcasted/you watched it loosely around when).
 
I'll find it. Just to prove to myself that I'm not insane. Atlus said it in one of his videos where he alone commentates on DSP. Snood is a bit harder to remember where he said it since he is more frequent. But i will find it.

I don't know man I can't stand snoods voice. It sounds like he's got some backed up cum in his throat but I do like the dynamic all 3 of them have. Iveegas another one with a terrible voice like JTL
