I fall in and out of DSP watching, but when Im out, Im out.

TBS is basically all I watch when I want to catchup.. I also do like the detractor who has the intro with the melodramatic music playing over DSP begging. Makes me chuckle everytime.

Whats funny is DSP fatigue seems to be pretty high for everyone, but this year has been the craziest DSP year since I started following.

I'm in the same boat. I'll check up on Twitter with Poems and a few detractors that are keeping an eye on the shut in Polock. I don't even watch TBS anymore, as I just....Phil is that fucking boring. It's easier to watch a few clips on Twitter from time to time, that are easy to digest, instead of a entire video on him. I tried to watch a Snort Hogan video recently and I couldn't make it in 5 minutes, as Phil was putting me to sleep.

I don't know how detractors like Poems does it or did it for so long and I know people have tried to get him into drama, but he's said so himself "If you think that I am involved in Phil drama, no." Poems is one of the rare detractors that just posts what Phil does is interesting and a few personal stories, and goes about his day. How he's done it for so long and not want to jump off a cliff, the man has a strong mental fortitude. That and he's mentioned before he does have a LOT of Phil-like people in his life and even met Phil once at a convention many years ago that he was help setting up.

It's easier to go onto the cesspool known as Twitter, as long as you avoid the anime pfp people, and catch a few clips. Again, that's what has been keeping my sanity, if I want to see what stupid shit Phil as said. As of now, he's fucking boring.

I'll catch bingo from time to time because they play Memeology, Snort Burnell, and Mighty D videos to laugh at before Phil starts. The scottish accent somehow makes listening to the Renton Retard on 1.5x speed more bearable.

Beyond that, I catch stuff on the farms or the oddball short that shows up in youtube feed.
 
It’s gotten really hard to follow him lately. I’ll listen to ALT’s REE-caps of the night before and that’s it.

Without PoP or Meerkat it’s pretty slim pickings for good restreams.

The current ones like Toxicity Unmasked, Brosyde, Doody (is a fucking faggot), Indrid and all the shitty super bottom tier Wigger007 crew people make it hard to bother.

Considerably, but the occasion when I do get in the mood, I'll just turn on a Raw Phil stream and sit through that, chat is usually pretty dumb but it moves fast so it doesn't matter. I stopped caring about Phil from like 2022-2024 and didn't care for a lot of the detractors that were around when I started getting back into him.

The only person I can deal with is Tevin, and that's because its fun to watch a dude with ADD that knows way to much lore try to deal survive on of Dave's streams.

There's been a distinct lack of creativity since like 2023 and I think it's because of how long Phil has been around for.

The problem with many detractors is that they try to do too much. Instead of one stream a week, most try to produce "content" for five days a week. I think this is why TBS works, still. Just one show a week, and that's it. You have to be a really super creative person to talk over his streams and keep people engaged. Most detractors are one step above Phil at the best of times, anyway.

I think this is less a product of Phil and more an issue of DSP detractors being sub-par entertainers themselves. It's why their non-DSP related streams tend to have a fraction of their DSP content; most people in the Vortex doing content aren't very good either but have the benefit of looking quite competent alongside Phil.

And as @Power Glove said, it requires a level of creativity that you're generally not going to see in detractor spheres, mostly because if a person was actually that creative, they'd probably be streaming to bigger audiences on more generally appealing topics. And also because the talent pool is coming from Internet gossip mongers and former DSP fans, which isn't exactly the best group intellectually.

The selective, performative empathy surrounding the Kirk shooting is exhausting. If Steve didn't have an accent, he'd be as charismatic as DSP. You don't need a Twitter/X screenshot to critique the guy.

No, I mean the type of "empathy" that's excreted by terminally online retards who are using his death as an excuse for grandstanding, political sperging, collective masturbation, etc. It's like we've forgotten how to express sympathy, empathy, whatever without making ourselves central to the expression.
 
Steve has always been an ugly, annoying faggot. Hopefully this incident will permanently remove him from the show and we can go back to chill, positive streams.
