Bringing your detractor predictions to the alog thread (actually the detractor thread).

Your TBS prediction is interesting to me. There’s evidence in both directions:

Splitting/ending show
  • Sam is clearly not ever coming back, which is a shame.
  • Meerkat is streaming more and unavoidably covering some topics twice on the same day (his stream/TBS)
  • WPIG is almost daily and so ALT is also his own competition to an extent

Show continuing
  • Since Steve left, meerkat shows up every time
  • They’ve started to post more to the clips channel
  • WPIG and meerkat’s streams still feel different to TBS, and all three have very healthy attendance, engagement, and suhport
My verdict: Decent chance this is just a rebuilding year and things continue. They may just be waiting a respectful amount of time before bringing on a permanent new co-host to replace Steve, which would smooth out the workload.

They just need to do 1 stream a week. They've done this for around 3-4 years now so I see no reason to stop. I also see no reason to add permanent members when they have a guest every other week. Steve was good only as a laugh track, and I liked Sam but I agree he's never coming back.

The whole show is 2 guys reacting to DSP for 2 hours once a week. It's easily sustainable unless they get involved in some a-logging shit or get exposed for doing something scummy, which at this point I'd believe isn't very likely to happen.

Sadly, I don't know how this sperg became the no. 1 restreamer, on TBS I can tolerate him but when he is alone he is insufferable, for me it's like listening to two DSPs, one that is an unfunny hypocrite that lies and begs and the other one is also unfunny and spergs out at the first one for lying, begging and being a hypocrite.
 
TBS kind of sucks today. If I wanted to see some old DSP shit I'd just watch a Tevin stream from back in the day.

I’ll grant you that ALT isn’t very funny, but I’ve never heard him sperg out at really anything. He’ll beat the occasional funny joke into the center of the earth, but he never gets mad.

The same way that idiot Doody became the biggest clip/'tractor channel: Just constantly putting shit out there. It also doesn't help that Doody goes and throws money at other tractor streams, so he gets shouted out a lot.

I guess it helps being an autistic loser who's as terminally online as Phil and behaves like Phil and is an equal attention whore as Phil. If he had started playing games on stream 10 years earlier we would have had an entire section of this forum devoted to Doody Streams.
 
ALT makes very SUS young jokes, and talks about High school a little too much to me. If you watch pay attention to how perverted he is, just a week or so ago, he was making a sexual "Joke" toward a character in Pokemon, which is clearly targeted toward a younger audience.

Idk I'd rather hear others opinions on this, it's just something I have noticed throughout my time watching WPIG
