i've gotta say it seems strange to me how accepting LTG's trolls are of Immo342 essentially doing the exact same shit as Supercrzy. Immo made $200k(?) restreaming LTG giving minimal commentary and even fucking sleeping through them. Then he made a low effort website that got shut down immediately and no one has heard from him since. And it just makes me wonder if detractors are simply held to a higher standard than other trolling communities or what.

Had* and the Jenna overlay spam was what got them nuked in the first place. It's not like there were just thirst overlays, there were also Project 7, Spoony, and Jake James Lugo ones as well.
I'm pretty late to the ALT discussion, but he's repeatedly said that he doesn't really watch or interact with the DSP sphere outside of streams. I can't confirm that since I'm not in the discord or use twitter, but I have no reason to doubt him.

Regarding his chat, I agree it's cancer but the same can be said about any chat: there's the casual viewers, the regulars, and the dents/superfans. That's not to mention ALT's open about living in Japan for a long time which is like a 30x multiplier on the weirdos you attract. I do agree he's become too parasocial, partly out of comfort, and he doesn't do enough to drive dented ones out of public discourse at least. It's why I stopped reading that chat for the most part, it's very easy to forget the Internet isn't your friend and even easier to get trapped in the parasocial feedback loop once the boundary get blurred.
 
I’d love to know ALTs real thoughts on Kino Casino. TBS seems to keep them at an arms length. They’ll show their clips but that’s about it.

After the snakening people used to ask ALT when KC would be guests and he’d give a “when the time is right” non-answer.

I get the feeling TBS think maybe they’re TOO much drama or too unstable in their opinions of detractors to be guests.

I know PPP (you know the drill) watches and respects WPIG, and Meerkat has watched KC for years so I’m guessing ALT is the holdout. I wonder why.

I don't remember which case it was exactly, maybe that time phil complaining about customer support being some shitskin that didn't even speak half english and they spent DAYS talking about how phil was racist.
it was not even on one of their channel, they sperged out about it on each of their own channels and on the one that they gather altogether.
they respect wpig as much as they respect doody when they say that they "like" doody. they provide free intel... and it's mostly warski that says these empty statements because he knows that he has to be diplomatic in order to keep the connections with other.
imagine if they did a coop stream and warski says "oops I almost said the n-word" then the gnome teacher will start lecturing everyone how that's as racist thing while the romanian steals the steel beam's from PPP's eiffel prop.

Maybe, but not sure how much I agree.

TBS is a-political. Not everything has to be politics at all times and, (as it should be) everyone can come together to laugh at Phil. TBS has had a wide range of guests (including Stuttering Craig) which has never given me the impression they screen guests for politics.

Remember they took Steve of the Dead behind the woodshed for introducing politics (indirectly) and that was left-wing shit he was spouting.. To be honest I’ve never heard them pearl clutching about racism.

I watch most Phil segments on KC and they can be pretty strong on Doody. They (rightfully) tell him his editing is shit, he’s obsessive and (also rightfully) belittle him for monetising clips of their show while it’s still on the air.
In contrast PPP seems to spend a lot of time watching WPIG.

Perhaps that’s it though; TBS are worried KC will turn on them as quick as Doody.

Perhaps you’re also on to something about they’re worried KCs language and demeanour being too ‘spicy’ for YouTube.

People are thinking too deep on this. They are probably fine just co-existing and laughing from afar. It’s pretty gay of some people to assume everything is some conspiracy about politics or whatever.

Few reasons

1. They already said everything interesting on their own show like a year ago. I don't know why people think it MUST happen. I don't really see a point outside of hype for the sake of hype

2. We kinda missed the timing on a collab when it could've happened and made sense

3. PPP is low key a liar, if he thinks something is hype enough he's going to add 10 layers of bullshit that didn't exist to the story. I've seen him to that same shit to RTU multiple times. I'm not going to talk to some guy who's going to give me fake ass stories about what Phil REALLY TOLD HIM in a private discord call or some shit. He says things people want to hear so they can get hyped and mindlessly seal clap and that doesn't work for me

4. Ultimately this is the biggest reason - we didn't... really care? We talked about it once or twice and was like "Kino? Yea maybe at some point" and that was about it. We got their opinions, Phils opinion on them, their messages in the DMs and so on. We didn't really need to talk to them at all. We talk like 1-2 times a week over chat about scheduling and guests so if we don't decide on the spot on something it's just not happening that week.

So tldr we just kinda didn't care and it didn't need to happen so it didn't and that's about it.

This paragraph reminds me of Cog sperging at PPP "THAT'S NOT FACTUALLY ACCURATE!!!" when PPP was inventing bullshit about Ethan Ralph to make it more funny. PPP understands that in the lolcow business "the truth" it is what makes people laugh harder.

TBS and WPIG1651 are all about revealing the truth and exposing Phail's lies. That's why they go back to ancient videos and SRK posts to find out what really happened. There is entertainment to be had from cataloging the truth vs. Phail's ten different versions of the truth. The Dent Sea Scrolls exploring old-style Phail are some of the best DSP detractor content IMO (minus Steve).

If you prefer lies and ridiculous exaggerations all for the sake of a laugh, there's always Doody.

I actually enjoy Phail twisting himself into knots trying to come up with a new lie to cover the old lie that was just exposed, e.g. the handcart meme. There is no reason at all to lie about a handcart, but he did anyway. And after Phail leaked his own discord messages of him talking about a handcart, he had to go on a rant about detractors and dollies to avoid taking another L (in his own mind anyway).
