Well he can go fuck himself since I can happily put down the SoK's charity myth like a lame horse due to knowing the particulars behind that. An old "detractor" by the name of Hollywood Kojima was the dude who did the initial water fundraiser back when he was "president", which was done due to just wanting to get something good out of the shitpile that is the DSP sphere. It was tangentally related to the whole thing at best and wasn't trotted out all that often. Freddie then took this as an example to make the SoK look better than they really were as cheap propaganda and most charities afterwards were patterned on this original one as a way to pretend they were better than a fat gouty manchild.

So yeah, the SoK's philanthropy was a big A-log moment that was only done as a way to make themselves look better than Phil.

I honestly don't get how this makes them better than Phil, for all they know, Phil could have been making small regular donations for years.

All this says about them is that they are desperate to be able to say they're better than him, and that's a sure enough sign of A-Logs as anything you can find..

This shit practically invalidates the good will of the action. He's not bringing attention to a cause to donate to, he's bringing attention to the fact that he donated. That doesn't make you a better dude, it just makes you as petty as Phil.

It's amazing really. All Chris's A-Logs did (including the original) was REEEEEE impotently at him while being just as weird and deviant as the object of their hatred. Meanwhile DSP's A-Logs flag his videos and channels, concoct elaborate stories of Dutch escorts, and SWAT him, all hoping to ruin his streaming career. And that's not even taking into consideration the constant infighting. Seriously, how the fuck did DSP become such a lightning rod for autism?

I think the difference in Chris A-Logs compared to DSP A-Logs comes down to the supposed 'righteous' indignation that can come from A-Log moralizing. With the cult of the mind replacing the cult of the spirit in our modern Western society, intelligent = good, in the moral sense. To say someone is stupid means they are lesser human, morally inferior, they will not see glorious eternal life in the hereafter, etc.

Chris is a doofus. Anyone can quickly grasp the limits of his world, recognizing where Chris' ends and the universal reality of the outside observer begins. Relatively speaking, Chris is docile, and makes no claims beyond those limits. He is born prey, a very easy target. The bullying Chris receives is fairly equal in character to the stupidity, bluntness, aimlessness he exhibits. It doesn't try to show how smart it is.

DSP, on the other hand, thinks the limits of his inner autistic world reach beyond his doofusness and throughout the universe, applying to everyone everywhere. He is a doofus who thinks that he's not a doofus. And this is what triggers the indignation of the moral upright A-Logs. Essentially, Chris can waddle around, drawing hungry predators looking for an easy meal. But DSP needs to be put in his place.

I know only a little about Chris Chan but I think the big difference between the two is DSP is a fucking asshole. If DSP's house burnt down, I can't see anybody here creating a fundraiser to buy him supplies.

I think there would actually be a fundraiser set up by 3rd parties to at least help him out. When something like that happens, it doesn't matter if they're basically ostracized by the public (unless they're like a legit child molester) people would still do what they could to help out.

That's if his own neighbors, who probably don't even know him well, wouldn't help out in the first place.

And I'm not talking a fundraiser to pay off his taxes or loan, just a fundraiser or supplies to help him get by. Anyone who would shit on someone doing something like that if there was a genuine "act of god" emergency (fire/earthquake/tornado) isn't a nice person.

Agreed, however DSP hasn't really lied about something that serious ever. The only thing he does is either retell history or tell lies that somehow make him feel better or that he was the best person in some situation (ego).

Besides there would be public fire department records of attending to a fire at that address and I'm sure DSP would post pictures himself everywhere.

Regardless of how much hate Phil gets, I do think there would be quite a number of people who would set that aside at the point that someone's home gets burnt down. Not necessarily to make themselves look better but because Phil isn't that bad of a person to deserve something like that (nor are most people).

Plus, if that happened, and provided no humans were hurt, then we'd at least get to laugh at his die hard a-logs sperging out.

He said during one of his PUBG streams recently (not going through 500 videos to find it) that he does make or has made charity donations, despite what the detractors think. He says he'll never talk about it publicly though, so as he'd say, it is what it is.
