I'm more perturbed by the fact that Rich supports an actual family by being the guy who, among other things, relies upon losers like Phil who insist on broadcasting their embarrassing natures on the internet. I mean that's why he keeps popping into the streams, dropping money and poking the pigroach, he wants to establish a connection that he can exploit in the future.

Mind you, detractors channels obviously exploit Phil, except the ones worth watching don't give him money or even really interact with him directly, and Rich isn't a detractor. He considers himself above that kind of thing, completely oblivious to the fact that his actions position him BELOW the likes of Memology and Snort Burnell. He doesn't see it that way because he envisions a future where he can score an interview with Phil and get some big views, and there's no amount of donating, done a little at a time, that offsets the profit to him.

Doesn't help that Rich doesn't have any kind of opinion on Phil, he could care less about what a pile of slime he's dealing with, as long as it's profitable for him. He's a pigroach himself, just a more capable one. If you ever wondered what a more competent, but still disgusting, Phil looks like, there you go.

I will never understand people who think an interview with Phil is a big get: DSP's interview with the Quartering did not boost either of them long term because it was too scripted to be interesting. Considering how YouTube CPM has declined over the years and how common adblockers are now Rich might lose money even if Phil agreed to an interview today.

By contrast restreamers + general Internet lore people (Metokur, Memology, Fred Knudsen) are living proof that Phil drama gets views just through funny or insightful coverage without any brown-nosing. All Rich's sucking up is going to get him is the undivided attention of the 'tism vortex and he really should be smart enough to realize that is not a good thing.

Edit: As a general rule of thumb the best way to get funny or incriminating admissions out of Phil is to distract him from the fact he's on camera - when he knows there are internet autists watching he clams up, when he thinks he's in a space with adoring fans he'll say whatever crosses his mind. A carefully arranged interview is the exact opposite of that.

I saw that Quartering and Sargon have managed to worm their way back into slightly more reputable pop culture streams as of late. That has to have seen some boost in their numbers and superberries.

Phil, you fucking suck dude, if those two managed to rehabilitate their brands.

Rich isn't out to get him, though. Much like The Quartering, Phil is just the potential for money, nothing more. Detractors are able to grasp the need for some distance because they DO have it out for him, they're invested far more in detracting for the hilarity at Phil's expense than in the money it makes.

No one who looks at a lolcow in the way that RTU and The Quartering do are ever going to be good at milking one. You HAVE to be after more than money, because the instant you take out any desire to truly laugh at the idiot on display, you lose perspective.

Phil has never even applied himself, and I wish he would, if only to see him fuck it up anyways because no matter what, he's still stupid. He could train as hard as possible to prepare for Guilty Gear Strive for months and he would still get curb-stomped and sincerely have no idea the real reason why. His problem isn't laziness, it's being mentally handicapped. Watching him look at his own inputs of his own volition while failing to perform a left-facing DP in his beloved Super Turbo and still not see what's going wrong proved that for me.

The people I just doxed aren't Phil's fans. They're the family of Timbo, who was a mod for Phil. He had cried about us finding his sister and said to leave his family out of this and that he'd leave and we'd won, just don't include his family. Whether he willfully lied, or meant it, but caved in because he's basically addicted to Phil the way Phil is addicted to Champions (and a number of other things), the dude needs serious professional help.

Not saying this to dunk on him, or anyone else with his kind of problem. This is seriously no way to live, and a big example of what I'm talking about with my comment about his fans lacking in self-preservation instincts.

I REALLY want someone who's a regular in his chat to confront him about this kind of shit, bring it to his attention right in front of everybody, and see what he does.
