Yeah, as we get to know more of his fans it becomes more and more clear there is a not insignificant portion of Phil's fanbase who are developmentally disabled literal who view Phil as a role-model. They always have a YouTube channel of some kind and/or livestream.

It's hard to decipher but in the 'Thinking about the future' video k0mbatdan says that his parents have lined up a job and have plans for him, but he doesn't want to do that, he thinks he can just upload gameplay videos like darksydephil as a career. Whether it's Alex Sidella streaming, or k0mbatdan trying to make YouTube videos while spending all day in anime forums RP'ing lemonparties, this recent Beau Heisler who's YouTube has years of gameplay videos averaging 5 views and likes to argue on reddit that's it's okay he wants to fuck underage anime characters, or that piss-drunk 30 year old streaming Farcry 5 to no one etc. they all watch DSP and seem to think they will somehow 'make it' just like him.

Phil sells the lie that even with an off-putting personality if they put in laughably minimal effort they can upload random videogame footage and make lots of money.

But it can't be too bad since he was able to join the Royal Canadian Air Cadets, but they are Canadian and I can't be fucked to look up how strict they are - if at all.

He definitely has some kind of developmental issue. He openly admitted (no, declared, really) on DSP's halloween 2018 marathon that he had to leave to go trick or treating. True to his reputation, we would indeed see him a little bit later.
