See? "I have depression, so I know what it feels like". He's basically using it as a virtue, not a flaw. He's only admitting to it at that moment so he can shit on someone and weasel his way out of something shitty he said (I vaguely believe this was about a guy saying he was depressed and Phil replied saying that getting Honda to Master was truly depressing, not his bullshit). He only uses it as a way to make himself seem like someone who struggles and perseveres, not someone who lashes out because he's insecure.
Bring this any other day and Phil will say he's not depressed because he's happily married and makes good money on the internet.
Phil is easily one of the stupidest people on the internet for a variety of reasons. He absolutely is.
* He's not well read or educated. Seriously, has Phil ever talked about a book he read that wasn't obligatory schoolwork?
* Has absolutely zero interest in ever learning something (he always knows a topic even when people downright tell him he's wrong, like with Trump's tariffs recently)
* Always blames everything and everyone whenever he doesn't understand something (plays SF6 like ST2 and complains it doesn't work)
* Lack of curiosity on levels that defy human nature, as shown during his gameplay, particularly during Zelda TOTK
* Incapable of ever accepting fault. He did everything correct
On top of being borderline retarded (he needed three hours to "assemble" something with less moving parts than a toy for literal toddlers) Phil has zero interest in ever learning. It's one thing to be a moron, and it's another to be slow when learning something (I'm guilty of this), but when you legit don't want to learn because you figure you already know everything, then yes, you ARE stupid.
