He was at 38 bucks for like an hour and wasn't begging like a crackhead. That was pre-arranged. If it wasn't pre-arranged you would've got stuff like "We didn't hit the goal on the first stream!" "Cmon guys, this is a premier stream!"

Yeah, he sat on that $100 tip for 30 minutes before shouting it out. At one point he even said, "I got a few tips to shout out in a little bit guys, but please support the stream!"

You'd think a guy whose entire business revolves around crowdfunding would drop everything and acknowledge support asap, but not this asshole.

I remember he used I think Grok several months ago and made prompts for it to make insulting images of detractors, like he'd write in something like "Make a picture of DSP's troll sitting in his mother's basement" and no matter what he did Grok always ended up depicting the average DSP detractor as a muscular black man

But not Phil oh no, dude is straight up holding his parry stance up while behind the boss, slowly walking towards it while his teammates are actually doing the fighting. If by chance he manages to graze the boss, he does like a pixel of damage and then proclaims "NICE WE GOT HIM".
Basically things are going as expected.

I've seen some clips of him "playing" Nightrein and someone on Twitter said it perfectly - he's basically a cuckold sitting in the corner watching other people beat bosses for him. The best part is that despite the fact that he gets 1 hit in for every 10 his teammates do to the boss, and the fact that they are always in the boss' face while Phail is observing from a distance 90% of the time, he is still somehow always the first one who dies to the boss

its not fake tipping, its all organised. thats why theres no excitement, the tips probably been sitting there since the start of the stream. he doesnt call it out because hes waiting for other people to donate hoping to make more. he knows that if he calls it out straight away then hes probably not going to make anything else because the goals already been hit.

I always took "organized" to mean he had a Discord and would ask people to tip at specific times or to call in emergency tips which I found dubious because he can't organize shit and who the fuck is going to put that much effort into shit for him? But now I understand it better. They login, tip him very early on and then log off (because no one actually watches DSP) and then he decides when to add the tips to the leaderboard.

Which is basically fraud (albeit extremely low stakes).

I honestly believe both are true. I'm certain there are dent whales that organize tips with him, either planning to "save the stream" or they just give DSP $150 up front.
However, I can't rule out the possibility that he'd just fake tips once in a while so the trolls don't get a win --- we're talking about The Guy who was hesitant to ban a pedophile from his community because the detractors were the ones who outed him.

Without wanting to too much and start an actual politics discussion, I'm just writing this in the khantext of DSP land:

I think he already fucked up and missed the boat. Unless my reading of the room is wrong then the economy/real estate market in parts of the US is going to tumble quite a lot. The stock market has been highly unstable for a while now and it seems somewhat likely everyone is in for a rough few years. I can really see it as being highly plausible that his property loses like 20-30% value in as little as 6 months. For certain that isn't guaranteed but if he wanted to make use of that equity he should've done so ages ago, its very likely too late now.
I could of course be wrong and the economy could stabilize, it's sort of like reading a magic 8 ball though, but the general sentiment I'm reading across the board about the economy is certainly not positive right now - which if we're just going to limit the scope of politisperging to DSP land means that his equity is either at risk or already lost because he won't be able to do anything with it until its too late.

Regardless of the economic situation, even if he somehow gets the $200k we all know he's going to do fuck all with it and not pay off his outstanding tax, fix the house and all of that shit. Between the current house condition (needing an entire kitchen refit as well as probably 2-3 bathrooms and probably new carpet throughout the house and whatever else) there probably wouldn't even be much left of $200k by the time all that shit is done.
People say the maximum amount he can have on the tax payment plan is $100k so I'm going to guess he already has a decent amount bundled up in that.

If the economy falters then for sure people aren't going to be spending as much money on shit like YouTube subscriptions and tipping streamers.

Yeah, it is kind of impressive how he cannot help himself. But it does fall exactly in pattern with I said the other day. Has anyone else noticed Phil's voice get a little bit more raspy recently? I noticed it when he went off on the Expedition 33 rant at points, he's starting to sound a bit like that gay guy from Independence Day and a lot less youthful.
