It's amazing how little he knows about video games or anything related. Guess he knows what hitboxes are from playing street fighter.

I think I'm still on team DSP went to visit his (healthy) parents to beg them for money/because they guilt tripped him into it, but I can see why some people are thinking he was home the entire time scheming some sort of lolsuit plan. IMO, I think it's a case of while he was at home, he was giving his parents his prestream spiel and either Dave or Linda vaguely said something encouraging about him suing the detractors, so DSP took that as confirmation that he's totally right and his dad can beat up all the detractors dads.

As for everything else...eh, I don't think Phil is acting too differently from how he usually does. I think people are just reading into things a little more than usual because of the absence. But let's not pretend Phil doesn't have a history of feigning distress and not providing any concrete details to indicate he's actually in any trouble, or that it's unusual for him to go on rants threatening lawsuits about his detractors. Or that he doesn't have long spells where he barely mentions Khet. He might be a little more energized, but only because he has a week of pent up pre-stream energy he needs to release.
