DarksydePhil / TheyCallMeDSP / Phil Burnell: The Side Scrollers Podcast Week of March 13th.

Podcast Date/Time:

Thursday March 16th at 11AM CST

The Show Host is StutteringCraig, you may remember him from being the founder of the gaming website "Screw Attack!"

It will be recorded and streamed live, so YouTube chat comments can make their way onto the podcat.

Want to have your question asked? Submit your tweet to @StutteringCraig. He has spent several days catching up on all the DSP 'lore''. If you have something that he definitely needs to know and/or ask DSP - it doesn't hurt to send him a message on Twitter.

Note: I hope the community can direct their ire at DSP and not necessarily at the host(s). They got a lot more than what they bargained for.

@ZeroCool Doing a little plugging for Stuttering Craig, eh? Do you give him money as well?

You think Craig is actually going to respond to any of the real hot button shit?

I see you've decided to make your second post in the DSP Subforum , lets take a look at your first, so we can remember what a banger it is.

This Craig interview gonna be 2023's biggest nothing burger. At frist I wanted to give Craig a chance since I know nothing about the guy. But after these past 2 weeks of asking detractors on Twitter for imput and questions. To then proceed to bash said detractors for being crazy/using anime PFP. Shit went south real fucking quick with the guy. But probably to me the worst thing Craig has done to simply lose all respect with me is constantly throwing out "I'm a journalist guys, I have a degree, I know what I'm doing" shit like that come off unprofessional in my mind when you've spent days on Twitter asking others to do your homework for you.

"I'm a mature adult with a journalism degree"

Post rape interview EDIT: Well fuck me, he actually had one of those, guess I look stupid now.

I'm not sending anything on Twitter.
My only hope for this "interview" comes with the fact that Agent Proper has guided Craig a little bit, but it will ultimately come down to Craig himself.

I think the order and wording of the questions is important, but seems like he has not received that level of handholding so I can only hope that the degree he talked about, at the very least helps a little bit. This is under the optimistic assumption that he is actually serious and critical about this.

I want him to establish the facts first, and if he is as diligent as he has claimed, he should have clips if necessary. Then, he can start to cross examine his claims by presenting the evidence.

As I've said elsewhere, I'm mainly interested in WWEChampions, the bank leaks, and the microtransactions. There's a lot to cover on Champions; the info on the microtransactions is public data, there's no reason to ignore this with other than "so creepy, why are you looking at that"; the bank leaks, while acquired through questionable means, doesn't change the fact of what they show. It also doesn't change anything in regards to what DSP has said about people taking money from him.

3 indispensable questions in my opinion: Jasper revealing the screen; first Discord leaks (Andre PFP); how was his phone number registered in LINE despite his insistence on never doing it. Obviously there's more, but to not overwhelm at least the 3 should come at some point. The handholding stage is over, if proper research was done, no one should have to make a wall-text on what they want Craig to ask.

In Twitter no less, or by doxing your face in order to talk about a topic unrelated to you (because you need to see the other person's face in order to look at evidence and clips, and talk about it).
Also, I have my prediction on what DSP's answer to the Jasper thing will be, if it gets asked.

Yeah I wanted to like the dude. I wanted to like his little podcast. There was potential there at first but I am not seeing it anymore.

Hope he doesn't beat himself up over how this shit is going to go. I don't think he realized how much more the "detractor" outweighs the actual Phil fans for attention, clicks, and views until he started asking the questions on Twitter and that must have fucked him up. Dude stared too long into the vortex and you can see it in his face if you compare the before and after.

I'm assuming from a normie standpoint that he pretty much has to take a defensive stance for Phil here just to keep him on and around, and to future proof his other guest appearances so they don't get weirded out.

Honestly I never had any real hopes.

When you try and explain to your co hosts who DSP is and you call him "a meme lord", "edge lord" and "divisive". You kinda fucked up from the getgo.

Even with 10 minutes of Google reserch you would find out that the only thing here that might apply was edge lord, and that was years ago. Living meme and one of the holy trinity of lolcows isn't divisive.

Everyone wants hard-hitting questions on WWE Champions, but in my fantasy interview (which is not happening, and neither is yours) I'd want to hear about a different topic.

Is it right to treat literal retards the way Phil does? WokeSydePhil should be forced to confront just how he treats the most vulnerable members of society.

Like I said in the main thread, having a journalism degree is the best way to tell if a person has multiple mental and moral failings. In my experience first year anthropology or sociology students are better interviewers than 90% of "people" who have a journalism degree.

In any case unless Tevin restreams it I'll just catch the clips of the most unhinged Phail moments and never actually watch this Quarterpounder 2.0 interview in full.

Even if through some small miracle Craig asks some legitimate questions, I expect Phil's answers will be pretty giant nothingburgers. He'll just give his usual spiel of "that's not true, they made that up just like the escort saga" or play dumb and act like he doesn't know what the question is about. Even if they press him, he'll just become meek, FakeSydePhil and do the equivalent of rolling up in a ball, just like in the few instances in his pre-hermit days where he was confronted in person.

This is just going to be Quarterpounder 2.0

A successful interview will depend on the interviewer's doggedness in refusing to entertain Pigroach's rambling pre-stream of consciousness excuses and instead press him hard on his lack of plausible explanation for all the difficult questions.

This Craig guy doesn't have enough of a handle on the Pigroach lore to press hard like that. His lack of knowledge of the lore will make him easy prey for the pignosis.

This interview is going to be absolute ass because this Craig dipshit refuses to do any research and will just ignore a majority of what detractors say.
Best case scenario is he will be like, shit, they were right, and I fucked up doing this gay, retarded interview. Becomes a detractor, memes Phil a lot, never invites Phil back on again and moves on with his life.

Stuttering Craig is really only remembered by AVGN fans as many of the nerd videos still have "originally aired on screwattack on ......." and that he made a cameo appearance in one of the Nerd's Christmas episodes. Otherwise, he is a nobody........like Phil

Excuse you. He's also remembered for sliming his friend out of owning Screwattack.

I know this is gonna be shit but hear me out.
If Craig had a brain, he'd ambush Phil and start with soft balls to get the usual Phil bullshit/retcons, only to start getting to the more controversial topics while bringing up clips and proof that Phil can't back out of since his previous answers are contradicting.

Now, while this is what an actual journalist would and therefore that fucking hack won't do it, it would be the best thing he can do. Craig is obviously desperate for views, he's a nobody who still clings to "muh legacy" and copes with "I don't wanna be mr. views" much like Phil does, yet he's trying to milk the DSP sphere for all they're worth. So much for wanting to build a meaningful community, right?

Anyway, it's clear that Craig wants to keep a good relationship with Phil so he can invite him whenever he needs views, but Craig doesn't know Phil the way we do. Phil already has an excuse to not come back ("muh tractors") and it would be innocent to think Phil wants to be friends with anyone. Both have something to gain from one another, the difference is that I think Phil's interest is short term while Craig's is longer term.

I think that once Phil goes, sees nothing changes and hasn't been redeemed, he will ditch Craig and we will see some BTS back and forth with Craig asking for more appearances and Phil just giving excuses with some passive-aggressiveness on each side. Somehow, Phil will end up shitting on Craig and how he did nothing wrong.

With this being a likely scenario, I think it would be best if Craig just went and pushed Phil to rage-quit the podcast, because either it's a very mediocre episode that exposes him as a shitty interviewer before being forgotten again or he uses this one shot to get some views and credibility by actually exposing and confronting Phil on his shit.

Of course, the retard will go easy, so I can't wait to see how Phil ends up stabbing him in the back.
