Yeah, the "errr" isn't really there, or should at least have been put between "of" and "money" when typed out, but as @t_a_m mentioned, there is some kind of hesitation. Or the realization, rather, because he already said "m.i.l.k." which he couldn't take back anymore. He then continues to say "m.i.l.k." every piece of money", which is kind of an odd expression/thing to say.
He might have meant something completely innocent for all we know, but it still sounds funny coming from his mouth.

Let us not forget he is an entire week out of practice spinning what he's going to say. An entire week of talking about these things only with Khet or to himself while laying in bed/sitting on the sofa delirious and barely conscious/while binge watching TV. His filter has degraded.

I actually think it's just slipping because he's increasingly desperate. Those depressing apologies at the end of the Christmas stream really stand out to me. I mean he should apologize, but... he actually did.
There's probably a reason most conmen skip town a couple years into the con, and the only ones who do it for decades become raving madmen. Look at Falwell and those prosperity preachers, they do it for 20+ years and then say shit like "god wanted me to have a private jet to bring the Gospel to people better"
I think Dave is at the point where he has to dive fully into the delusion or face it, he can't just halfway believe it for the stream then drink the truth away at night anymore.

He wasn't legit 'apologizing'. He was pity backpeddling to garner pity cheer/sub/tips due to overwhelming ongoing dislike of the stream in chat. Folks apologize once, maybe twice. Repeating the same thing over and over is a con-man spiel. ' I tried this. I tried that. I failed. I'm sorry. ' He was never sorry. D$P doesn't do ANYTHING Wrong. He saw a lack of funds coming in and tried a new tack to get them to come in.
His known faulty memory/misreading his list most likely had him dress as Bob Ross during the break ( for the DSP Tries It) because he misread and dressed one break early, play SF dressed as Bob Ross because it was on the list to be played next. Because he doesn't do anything wrong even though he took off the 'costume' b/4 the D$P Tries It as *cough* planned ( "Dress up as Santa or Bob Ross...or whatever...) he load up a new narrative of having done this as part of an elaborate plan to have equated one of the most nonviolent personalities to have ever been a hit on Twitch with a Fighting Game. It FAILS, because or course it would...insert apology near the end.....not just an apology, but a Full Blown 'Just Chatting' no gameplay Fullscreen face cam segment where he goes on and on and on about this 'apology' for the stream not sparking ample 'interaction'.

Well obviously he's not introspective enough to actually apologize. My POINT was that his stream was exactly as disliked as they normally were. People ALWAYS shit on the same things.
In all these years, he's never done hte "prostrate yourself pathetically before your audience" kind of begging. It's always been about "help me overcome unfair advantages" and blaming other people. This is literally the first time he's ever admitted to being wrong; normally he'd blame his audience for not liking what he did, not himself for choosing something they don't want to watch.
In the end, I don't think it was an intentional ploy to appear more pathetic than he really is for money. I've said it before; he's not really that good an actor. I think he got sad, and the delusions slipped a little.
Then he took those days off, Khet probably fed his piggy ego, and he had the time off to reinforce his self-delusions.

Did he ever say it was his mistake or that the stream chat just didn't like his 'master plan'? No one remarked much about his get up, just his gameplay. I'm fairly sure he never took fault outside of randomly saying he was sorry his plan didn't bear the fruits he thought it would because the stream didn't see/appreciate his brilliant plan of having Bob Ross play a Fighting Game. Boring was the word I recall him using though chat logs have don't have the Bob Ross character as being 'boring'. It was his gameplay being remarked on. Let us not forget that he changed off ( at near Swiss Watch accuracy at the 1.5hr mark ) Home Alone 2 gameplay after repeatedly doing the same thing over and over not in a 'Brute Force' way, but so he would no be able to proceed so he could quit without looking bad as he neared the 1.5 hr mark.
It is my opinion that folks in chat saying the games should have been Holiday oriented for a Holiday Game 'Marathon'* ( anything under 12hrs is NOT a marathon, sorry. Phil's behaviour in the past +week has been odd. It stands out because it's even more odd than usual. His delusion is his norm. There's many points in his life where this delusion may have fully developed, like when he suddenly becoming extravagantly wealthy for "being himself". Depending on Phil's psychopathology, he may have dived "fully into the delusion" as far back as childhood.
A conman eventually has to skip town because eventually there's no more rubes to con. Too much of the town's found out what he's been up to, so he has to hit the road in search of the next mark, the next town.
In 1986, former magician James Randi exposed faith-healer Peter Popoff as being a fraud on The Tonight Show. Popoff's con was to be in communication with his wife via a radio receiver. As he prophecied over someone during his meetings, his wife would read him the particular person's info that had been written on "prayer cards" before entering. After his exposure, Popoff was forced into bankruptcy the following year. In 2005, Popoff resurfaced with infomercials. This time, the con is to have suffering people send him "seed money". In return, they will receive their needed financial blessings. Popoff conned one too many rubes. He got found out. Now, he's moved onto another town.
Jerry Falwell had no reason to skip town, he was still successful. "God wanted me to have a private jet to bring the Gospel to people better" wasn't an excuse made to deflect suspicion. It was the norm, fully developed.
Phil has no reason to skip town. He's still successful (trivia: the term for an unexposed sociopath is a "successful sociopath"). Despite everything, his delusions still makes him somewhere around $100K a year.

D$P's 'town' is the internet ( Twitch/Yt ). Via Twitch more so than YT with it's newest algorithms hindering exposure to small channels. Twitch allows him a steady stream of possible new followers...IF he were smart about it by using his 200-400 viewers to grab new views due to having the most in a category. His insistence on playing Triple A titles while ALL the other big-medium streamers are playing does him no favors. He is, however, stuck in his early YT success mindset or Day One game release views. A thing long since sundowned by big production companies and small-medium devs handing out their games EARLY to streamers as free promos. When D$P plays these triple A titles he so cleaves 'Day One' at release, half a million or more streamers and YouTubers have already been posting gameplay for days, weeks or months with Alpha, closed Beta and Open Beta ....before D$P even knows the game exists sometimes.*
* Professional full time gameplayer ( YT first, then Twitch) who doesn't bother to keep up to date on new games much less upcoming games that isn't up front in the regular gaming media he eschews ( but listens to ) and games his stream chat tells him about. Gaming business models that could have worked for D$P he refused to use ( aka WTF IS by TotalBiscuit*and EVERY FREAKING SUGGESTION HIS STREAM CHAT GIVES HIM )
* I know of many YT channels that made a name for themselves playing 'WTF Is' games right after TotalBiscuit ' s vids came out promo-ing the games.
D$P.....?.....misses out on every game that could have skyrocketed himself to fame as they did countless others: Yogscast ( minecraft ), PewDiePie ( Amnesia ), Ninja( Fortnite). What can YOU take from this? Any game won't play at launch because he says it is 'a fad', JUMP on! It's will be a winner.... raising over $5Million for charity Dec 2017 winner....World wide rl hack stunts/irl purchased billboard adverts to get your channel over 7 mill YT sub winner...being tapped to stream at Times Square during NYE winner...best way to become a success? Do the opposite of what D$P says.

How the hell can anyone watch this and be entertained? Every time I turn back to it, he's camping his ass off and grinding Top-10 spots.
Edit: I was wrong. He's not camping; he's hiding. He was crawling along a wall, stumbled upon a crate, and was upset because "the crate would lead people to him".
He's legit trying to hide until the last 2 people, and then hopefully ambush the last guy. Contrast this to Ninja last night, where the one match I watched of him, he came in first place with 18 kills. I think DSP has three Top-10s so far tonight with 1 kill in each match.

I think someone in chat asked him to go for kills instead of place to mix it up, and his response is that kills weren't the objective of the game.

We had high highs, and we had low lows, and we had things in between. In general, my streams were GREAT! I had a lot of fun doing them. Uhm. I really have no complaints, when it comes to the contents of my streams, and you guys hanging out with me and having fun. It really was a good time, and I'm really forward to 2019 even more! Although, there may be CHALLENGES and things coming this year! Uh. As you guys know, if you watched the podcast. I have things coming up this year, like an impending trip back to Connecticut, and stuff like that. That is going to be coming up. *THROAT CLEAR* Uhm. *LIP SMACK!* BUT! In it's almost ten years of existing? Yeah. Even though it doesn't mean anything. You know what I mean?
