If it is real, perhaps it wasn't all that bad for those that attended, especially if they couldn't embrace the greatness of the ball-pit but then again, there are STD's.

Is a ball pit really the best attraction these autists could come up with?

What was the point of making a convention if all you're going to do is just have a bunch of adults stand around staring at each other and playing in a ball pit.

It's like the guys running this thing never grew the part of their brain that says "we probably shouldn't" when considering ideas you could never follow through with.
 
with the possibility of gential warts being spread from the pit, them blue balls might have to be upgraded to red balls

DashCon screwed the pooch, got it pregnant, took the puppy from the pooch as soon as it was born, asked for donations to help raise the puppy, took the money and left the puppy on the steps of a firehouse.

I doubt this. I'm pretty sure that the venue staff were watching these idiots like hawks as soon as it became apparent that nobody was steering the ship. And on the off-chance that they weren't, and it is true... they're gonna be able to see the lawsuits going off from the International Space Station.

Perhaps people wanting to enact some sort of headcanon in real life? Some tumblr's are basically tumblr's for things like superwholockians (or whatever they call themselves) so no doubt they could enact a headcanon where the 10th doctor is embraced roughly and lovingly by Sherlock Holmes all while Watson violates a Dalek.
