Dave's slowly becoming insufferable. From backing Ron DeSantis and (briefly) getting involved in the Trump / DeSantis slap fight, and now attacking Tucker Carlson over the fact that he doesn't want the US to get involved in any more foreign wars and completely misreading (something he does fairly often I've noticed even to people he would normally agree with) what Tucker's actually saying.. It's becoming clear that Dave's going to be another political commentator I've chosen to drop.

Dave Rubin appears to have signed up with Tenet Media, a Lauren Chen & hubby venture to create a right-leaning multichannel network.

They launch tomorrow and have also signed up Tim Pool, Matt Christiansen, Benny Johnson, Lauren Southern and Tayler Hansen.

Apparently the deal didn't include Rubin doing any promo, as I can't find any mention of it on Rubin's Twitter going back to the 30th.

Looks like Dave was in London last week for Peterson's ARC thinkers conference.

Chen's venture has some big names and must have some money behind it, but is having quite a humble start.

The Tenet Media YT channel has less than 3.5k subs and their Rumble is under 1k.

So the format for Rubin's show on Lauren Chen's network was revealed.

Dave is doing a 30-45 minute call-in show with co-host Isabel Brown (never heard of her, but she's fucking one of Dave's staff) every Mon-Thurs at 1 pm EST.

It's a pretty low effort gig for Rubin. He just shows up with no show prep. His co-host Brown picks 3 trending viral videos that Dave hasn't seen and Rubin reacts to them.

They take 3 videocalls from Rubin's Locals audience and then call it a day.

Pretty mundane stuff. Brown is a GenZer and is easy on the eyes.

Edit: Brown mentioned that she was born in 1997.

Rough start for Rubin and Tenet. They've picked up about 2k subs on YT since launch but there's only two dozen live YT viewers watching Rubin presently.

While not confirmed, it seems as though Dave Rubin is the first right-wing personality kicked off of Lauren Chen's Tenet Media island (who's legal name appears to be Lauren Tam).

Rubin and his co-host Isabel Brown did 130 episodes for Chen's media network.

Their last episode was May 24th, 2024. I watched the bumpers of the episode and neither host mentioned the show ending nor any sort of hiatus.

Rubin & Brown don't have Tenet media in either of their Twitter profiles (not sure if either ever did, Tenet's launch was very compartmentalized).

His co-host Isabel Brown mentioned on May 24th that she was getting married in 6 weeks, so it's possible as well that things are on an unannounced hiatus.

The little following they did have haven't really seemed to notice their absence. I only noted one passing reference to a hiatus for Brown's wedding on their final YT video.
