David Scott Jaffe (born April 13, 1971) was once-upon-a-time a chubby nerd who worked as a playtester in 1993, testing SNES games like Skyblazer and Cliffhanger. He later became a video game designer creating the Twisted Metal series in 1995, and copying Rygar: The Legendary Adventure (2002) to create the God of War series in 2005. He also made a guest appearance on the classic G4TV series Code Monkeys on the episode "Just One Of The Gamers" in 2007. For a chubby nerd, David Jaffe genuinely used to be based and a pretty cool dude back in the day to protect his games being attacked by the conservative "Moral Majority" and clickbait gaming journalists, telling those anti-gaming social justice warriors (that hates gamers) to eat a big pile of bullshit. They were giving David Jaffe a hard time for God of War having over-the-top violence & gore along with a sex minigame, and Twisted Metal was also caught in the same crossfire for similar reasons.
Time passed, and David Jaffe cucked to a downward spiral, joining the dark woke side of the gaming community, and becoming the exact same villain he swore to destroy. And because his fatass is going apeshit insane while earning the lolcow status, he's destroying his life's career and legacy, betraying his own gaming audience, and picking fights with people criticizing his apeshit behavior & simping.
His last game he directed was Drawn to Death in 2017 for the PlayStation 4 by his gaming studio The Bartlet Jones Supernatural Detective Agency. Introduced around December 2014 while David Jaffe is sitting his fatass down simping for Zoë Quinn & Anita Sarkeesian during the beginning of the GamerGate era, Drawn to Death is a 4-player arena-shooting type game that's a ripoff of Splatoon, minus everything gamers love about Splatoon. The reaction from the announcement is mixed, mostly negative, as Drawn to Death looks like it's poorly made in 1998. But of course, when it comes to criticism, David Jaffe would go apeshit and attack the gamers, and later cry to his clickbait journalist allies to protect him and make hate-clickbait articles about gamers hurting David Jaffe's fee-fees, like they always do to protect Zoe Quinn & Anita Sarkeesian. Drawn to Death later ended up in a colossal failure that both his game and studio closed down a year later. It's so bad that not even Giant Bomb and NeoGAF approves of David Jaffe's shitty game, and that made David Jaffe go apeshit at them and on the comments.

Other unwell mental insanities from David Jaffe includes his appearances in Keemstar's Lolcow Live show where he barfs all over his shirt and he doesn't bother to change into a cleaner shirt like a fat old slob. And the incident back in 2013-2014 (while David Jaffe is simping for both Zoë Quinn & Anita Sarkeesian), David Jaffe confronted Ben Kuchera over a Kotaku article that had some comments he supposedly made that were implied by the clickbait journalists to be worse than they were.
When it comes to streaming the latest games, there's one game that cause David Jaffe to go apeshit mad over that went viral, and that is Metroid Dread for the Nintendo Switch. David Jaffe would be like a clickbait gaming journalist (Kotaku, IGN, Polygon, TheGamer, PC Gamer, Giant Bomb, etc.) and suck ass at it and then later blame it on the Nintendo devs behind Metroid Dread for David Jaffe sucking as much as that one clickbait gaming journalist who can't beat the tutorial stage in Cuphead. He was so bad at Metroid Dread that Nintendo of Australia & New Zealand on Twitter/X were roasting the hell out of David Jaffe sucking at Metroid Dread.
Later, after Metroid Dread wins a gaming award for Best Action Adventure, David Jaffe would disgracefully call Metroid Dread's win "A sympathy vote since the guy who invented the NES died just beforehand."
Besides streaming games and sucking at it, he would hypocritically rant about gamers and YouTubers having fun with games they like and not woke "games" they're disgusted of. Around November 2024, David Jaffe would simp-defend Dragon Age: The Veilguard and the worst Dragon Age character Taash, and blame its failure on gamers & YouTubers for criticizing it and how Dragon Age: The Veilguard is so shitty, so awfully woke, and rather focuses on lecturing instead of entertaining, that it killed the Dragon Age series along with EA / Bioware! And David Jaffe would attack YouTube ranters like Vara Dark for being criticized while having an anti-female meltdown and other apeshit meltdowns he's having. His meltdowns were just enough to get Asmongold's attention to make him famous for being an angry old fat soy-bearded lolcow yelling at a cloud.
