Oh honey, nobody cares. Also me wonders if he IS autistic because of his experience seeing batman.

Stupid google groups. This is a newsgroup posting from 2009:

David Tanny Newsletter
What I did in the month of June.
Date in History: June 24, 1989 - the last time I ever went into a movie theater. I saw "Batman." After the bad
experience with the audience, who just wouldn't shut up, I vowed never to go into a movie theater ever again.

Date in History: June 15, 1978 - graduated from Patrick Henry High School, finally free of the place where ego students
run amok with sports hobbies and annoying chicks you avoided because they interferred with your graduation goals.

Scrabble on Facebook: finally beat somebody at that game.

Twitter: updated my picture in a green hue. Up to 37 followers (deleted 10 of them because of abuse).

Myspace: got over 1,400 friends.

Latest weigh-in: 6/21/09...247 pounds. Need to reach 239 to eat one meal at Carl's Jr.

Waste of time highlights: watched some Warner Brothers cartoons in Spanish on XEWT 12 Tijuana one Saturday afternoon.

Streaming shows: Listened to dance mixers on ipartyradio.com Saturday night.

Sirius XM: Listening to Casey Kasem's 70s and 80s countdown shows. Casey retires from counting down the songs on July
5th.

Podcasts listened. Bits from DJ Particle's Dementia Top 20, Bofore Radio, and BADave. Unfortunately I don't have time to
listen to the whole shows.

TV Watched: David Letterman giving us updates on campaigns to get him fired. Spanish-language action and sports shows
from Tijuana's networks, and Telefutura.

Quit: watching Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien and Late Night with Jimmy Kimmel. Watched some bits of their shows on the
Net.

Radio shows listened: Roger Hedgecock, Jack Rice, Steve Yuhas, Beatles Brunch, Bob Marley and Friends.

No Dr. Demento on USENET because my source didn't get the show.

Worked with a chatterbox at my workplace who just wouldn't work and just talked and talked while loudly whistling the
"S"'s to the point where I wanted to get a baseball bat and shut her up for good! She thinks she's on The View. Also,
the bitch assistant manager was demoted. Work sucks, but I need the bucks.

Putting together new songs for my podcast shows "The David Tanny Show" and "Dave's Music Notes" from the source
podsafemusicnetwork.com and others.

Happening now but not attending: Del Mar Fair. Can't eat those weird fried mystery meats that they're cooking!

Entering month 38 of being retired from and no longer caring about prime time network television. Program all of the
garbage you want. I won't watch.

Got a Haier portable digital TV at Target this month. Come August, I can watch the NFL football games on the local
channels while I'm away! My old analog TV I got in 1995 just gets the Tijuana analog channels. Have to learn Spanish
nowadays.

www.youtube.com/watch?v=J_X9UuSly5M If you really, really hate your family you should have this on this holiday season.

Also, its very telling because it's him bitter at Christmas. He mentions several times he's poor, doesn't have a buck, and that he's going to have to leave town in a truck. That's pretty sad all things considered but what's sadder is the autotune, oh God and the bear, my ears.

There is a archived clip of Tanny calling a Dementia community podcast, only to be hilariously told off by the host because he had been talking shit and badmouthing the same community just days earlier.

The ISGD Pre-Show: Demented Datebook and More - ISGD
* Dave's Demented Birthdays and History! See more facts and stuff at
* http://today.davesfunstuff.com/640.htm
* Now with the Holiday Almanac, This Dave in History, and Random Quotes!

* Nov 25: In 1940, the cartoon character Woody Woodpecker made his debut in the animated
* short "Knock Knock."
* In 1966, The Beatles recorded this Christmas tunes in a studio at Dick James House.
* Recording: `Pantomime: Everywhere It's Christmas'. That's for their "Fourth
* Christmas Flexi" fan club vinyl disc.
* Nov 26: In 1976, The Sex Pistols released their debut single "Anarchy In The U.K."
* In 1993, Penn and Teller perform the world largest (if not stupidest) card trick on
* "Late Show with David Letterman." "Pick a card any card," on a grand scale: the
* cards are steel, and so heavy the madmen of magic must use forklifts to shuffle them.
* Nov 27: In 1974, another novelty song became a No. 1 hit as Carl Douglas' "Kung Fu
* Fighting" hit gold status on this date; Douglas later attempted a follow-up
* with "Dance the Kung Fu."
* In 1982, "Down Under" by Men At Work entered the Top 40 chart.
* Nov 28: In 1976, After ABC executive Fred Silverman is wowed by the appearance of
* several "Brady Bunch" cast members on "The Donny & Marie Show" in October, he
* decides that America's favorite blended family deserves to be "given their own
* variety show." Over 15 million watch Sid & Marty Krofft's "Brady Bunch Variety
* Hour" featuring Tony Randall, and Donny & Marie Osmond. Original "Brady" cast
* member Eve Plumb, perhaps wisely, opts out of the show and is replaced by Geri
* Reischl as "Jan Brady." The show (with all its sequins) is picked up for eight
* more episodes starting in January. Series creator Sherwood Schwartz disavows this
* incarnation: "I had nothing to do with that. I didn't create it, I didn't write a
* word, I didn't have anything to do with it, except I hated it."
* Nov 29: Bill Scott -- Death Anniversary -- b.8/2/1920 d.11/29/1985 (65)
* Screen/Scriptwriter, Producer, Cartoon Voicist
* Misc: voices of Bullwinkle J. Moose, Dudley Doright, & Mr. Peabody on The Bullwinkle Show
* In 1938, Tommy Dorsey and his Orchestra recorded "Hawaiian War Chant" for Victor
* Records. Spike Jones and His City Slickers destroyed it decades later.
* In 1965, Johnny Cash recorded "The One on the Right is on the Left" for Columbia
* Nov 30: In 1835, writer Samuel Langhorne Clemens -- better known as Mark Twain --
* was born in Florida, Missouri. His works include "The Adventures of Tom Sawyer,"
* "Roughing It," "The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn," "Life on the Mississippi,"
* "The Prince and the Pauper" and many others. He died on April 21, 1910.
* In 1972, the BBC bannned the Wings's single "Hi, Hi, Hi" for a supposedly
* subliminal drug message. However, the song is a hit, making #5 in the U.K.
* and #10 in the U.S. in early 1973.
* Dec 01: In 1978, British new wave music-hall rocker Ian Dury releases his biggest hit
* single "Hit Me with Your Rhythm Stick." It will reach Number One in the U.K. and
* sell two million copies worldwide without entering the U.S. chart. A lyric from
* that song can be heard on "Bras On 45" by Ivor Biggun & The D. Kups

My personal favorite. The bassline gets me every time.

What bassline? He just hit the Demo button in his keyboard.

Augh, Why must his rhymes be so basic? I feel that it just made me feel physically sick.

Yeah. I have a remix idea for this song.

"We drive for two hours up the I-5 / Six o'clock is WHEN YOU WILL ALL DIE" (the song segues to death metal)

The fact that David Tanny and A log, love this Dementia Radio, makes me assume Dementia Radio is about as funny as the Korean War.

Does anyone else think his speaking voice sometimes sounds like Barney the dinosaur? In any case, this is my favorite. I think it's been posted about, but hasn't actually been posted. I think it's the most tuneful of Tanny's works...and unfortunately, it gets stuck in my head sometimes. Thankfully, it's usually just the tune and not his voice.

I can't tell what's worse, Tanny with or without that repetitive MIDI music...

Nah, definitely without.

That's a reasonable assumption. Tanny has poor tastes in everything, so TV shouldn't be any different.

Say what you want about his music, but his face would still make a pretty sweet Odd Future album cover.
